@@falseprogress Yep. Seeing this vid's title/description (won't be watching man's heartlessness boasted on film) has plummeted my respect of father and son. Confidence is absolute the earth, with its billions of years of evolution of life, in no way needs human intervention (at least by KILLING anything naturally found on/in it), as a weak excuse to justify sport killing. As False Progress eluded, using the *exact* same logic, killing humans to maintain overpopulation should be legal. The grand irony, is that some people think they're doing good by killing the planet's beautiful wildlife, while human presence has caused X-thousand-fold higher negative impact on the planet and its animals. But it's not enough that just our "high-maintenance" existence (especially in the US. Americans represent 5% of the world pop., but uses 15-16% of the planet's energy resources) damages the planet in uncountable ways. In addition to that, we think we can just go killing wildlife to get our kicks, just because it's legal. So...if killing humans was legal, I suppose Sin City Outdoors would be having folks take a "dirt nap" as well? It's called killing, for no other reason than to satisfy the only evil there is in this world...mankind's selfish, apathetic ego. Dad has spoke about his life experience in other vids; how so many in other countries have nothing like the luxuries the vast majority of Americans so. The inference, as least as I interpret it, is that most Americans are beyond spoiled, as if compassion and empathy for others is too often lacking. While mentioned (at least twice in different vids), not exhibited in dad's actual character. He's exemplifying the term...talk is cheap. I'm familiar with it. I've got an ego too and am thus not exempt from self-serving temptations. It takes a continuing commitment to introspection, rigorous honesty, the striving for humility and ultimately, appreciation and proactive respect for all living things. A conscience can be a burden for some. For others, it's like both a burden and a blessing. When I was 15-16 y.o., I shot and killed a lizard at my friend's house; the first time I'd done anything of the sort. The instant I shot the lizard and watched it die, I wept. I realized I had just killed something for no good reason. With rare exception, whenever a moth or other insect has made its way into my house, I catch it and take it outside. I didn't always, but that's my personal commitment in respecting animals that likely want to live just as much, if not more than we humans do. Some of it is upbringing. I didn't grow up in a family of hunters. Instead, my teenaged memory of my beautiful grandfather will forever resonate. During a visit, Puppa spotted the tiniest of insects crawling on his kitchen table. He spotted it and said (paraphrasing), "That little guy loves life just as much as anything else". It occurred to me that he might be right. Afterall, despite being so very small, the "lifeforce" within it has gone to just as much effort to **exist** as we do as humans. It's that effort that should be respected. I hope dad, who is surely far from pure evil (very few people are), might reconsider killing deer, rabbits, coyotes and anything else that he once thought of being "acceptable". The world is what we make it. Character attributes we used to actively value and express seem to be fading. The most simple, humble and valued of humanities' existence...respecting and abiding the principles of The Golden Rule and Live and Let Live. Otherwise, our lower natures take control of our thought-life and (depending our personal beliefs in a Higher Power) we end up slapping life, God and/or Mother Earth in the face by saying...this is what I really think about the value of my own existence. Whatever we express, we promote (most impactfully through our actions). And that means we're saying we'll be fully accepting if some one or some thing has as little respect for our existence as a living being as we've had for other living beings.

As a Sr., I agree completely. These are the same things I do with my kids. You guys are fantastic and are a great example for others to learn from. God bless y'all.

Make sure you set up down wind and don’t move. Movement is the biggest thing because they are watching the area before you even know they’re there. Make sure to have an opening on the down wind side because they will circle you first. They’re smart and sneaky so good camo and quietness is the key
