Still a great pump gun even though it is mostly plastic, ru-vid.comUgkxh4su9YgU1tWmjikirWcKJbjsFLEU62Bc but with care it will last a long time. It would be neat if Crosman would make a commemorative version of this with real wood stock, but of course it would weigh more and cost more, but hey, it would be cool. The included scope is more of a toy, but it does work for backyard plinking. I prefer to use pellets for greater accuracy, but BBs are just as good for plinking. This is not a Red Ryder folks; fully pumped it is 3 times the power of a Red Ryder and can be dangerous if not handled properly. Be safe out there.

Very true. I use to rabbit hunt all the time. Cottontails, Jacks, didn’t matter, they would take off like a bat outta hell, but if you just watched and waited, they’d usually circle around pretty close to where they started.

My grandson is 11 years old and got his hunter safety course done and got his hunting license a few days before rabbit season in July. We are hunting them with air rifles, he shoots a Benjamin Marrauder and I shoot the FX Bobcat MK2. Both are 25 calibers, I have created a monster hunter. Been eating a lot of cotton tails, really good eating. I love watching you guys, been watching you guys for a long time. Adrian senior you have done a great job raising those boys, and daughter. Lol, don't want to leave her out. Keep them coming, love all of your shows.

I was raised in a very anti-gun, anti-hunt family, although my father would talk about hunting when he was younger. So it was something that was always in the back of my head, interested me, but I never really talked about it. When I was 20 I started working for a bunch of guys that were avid hunters..I MEAN AVID. On Sept 1 and second Saturday in November, EVERYONE got the day off with pay to bird hunt. They got me into this lifestyle which melded with my love of hiking, hunting, fishing, and that was that. Been doing it for 33 yrs.

My father raised me to be a provider for the family and now my family, through hunting, and fishing. I remember one fall season in October four of us went squirrel hunting, and in the woods we hunted we also had a built fort. I shot one squirrel and skinned it, my hunting buddies couldn’t do, they were raised to become golfer, baseball player etc. After I skinned the animal I checked its liver and it was okay. I seasoned it with salt and pepper, wrapped two strips of bacon around it and roasted it on a spit over our camp fire which I taught my friends to do using flint & steel. I also had four potatoes wrapped in foil and put into the fire. When it came time I ate the squire and one potato the other guys only ate there baked potato. I took the skin home that day to tan it. These were great days for me. I loved the life of a mountain man. With my air rifle, I also hunted turkey, but you must shoot it in the head, so regular target practices is important.

great video, I grew up in ARIZONA and hunted the jackrabbit often. moved to Oregon and found the jacks up here run a lot earlier faster and farther then the zacks of arizona, the winter months with snow on the ground and they tend to slow down, but still chancy getting any shots with my pellot rifles, I enjoy your hunting videos

Hey guys. Found your channel today, must be a proud father. Ive noticed when I go out and hunt/explore like you guys do, I find a bunch of arrowheads and very weird rocks. Its a weird feeling to bag a beautiful hare and find a beautifully camoflaged stone arrowhead right next to it! Love channel, subbed.

We call them the searchlight track team. Once they start running, they are hard to get stopped. I use to hunt them a lot, 22lr, 17hmr, 221 fb, 223, 25-06, 338wm, even pistolas. Lots of fun.

That’s awesome guys been working out here on the outskirts of Vegas .. but it’s good to be outdoors like that, I remember my dad taking my brothers and cousins night shooting for coyotes and rabbits lotta fun memories and now I take my two boys and daughter out.. my daughter likes using her bow no guns for her she said lol .. keep up the family vids and leave the snakes alone native traditions

If you haven't already done it, give jackrabbit liver a try. Make sure the rabbit is healthy and the liver isn't all shriveled up and spotted. If it is in good shape it is delicious with your eggs in the morning. Just sautee it in a little butter or olive oil with some salt and pepper. Delicious! Most people throw away everything but the hind quarters and back straps. They are missing the best part in my opinion. Great video! I love hunting jackrabbits.

Love rabbit hunting. And that rifle is a pcp Beeman QB Chief and that rifle is incredible. You can actually shoot slugs out of it. H&N .218 Slugs. It quite loud so it might spook neighbors. But anyways great video. Greetings from Fernley, Nevada

I remember in the summer time my friends and I would go hunting in the woods. Train tracks would run through the woods and at times Hobo would jump off and build a shelter in the woods for a day or two until the next train comes through. When the Sun went down it became dangerous for us with the Hobos. Before we left the woods to return home My friends and I would load our Crossman 760 with a 1.99 pellet then we pump the rifle 15 times and put 10 “BB’s” down the barrier which our rifles became a scratcher gun (shotgun). This was our protection if we were ever attacked.

Sr laughing at Adrian for taking the prone position and getting cactus in your knee was my highlight. LoL. Always carry needle nose plyers with you when around staghorns and cholla. I grew up in Arizona. I ran across a book years ago. Something like American woodsman. Anyway it had rabbit hunting tips. One. A rabbit likes to go back to where he was ( I've found that to be true with deer also). I hunt with a dog but better to hunt in three's. The main shooter stays put when a close rabbit is spotted. The other two go towards the rabbit. The rabbit will start to circle back to the main hunter. The other hunter goes the opposite direction. So the pattern is like a heart. The book had drawings. One drawing even showed the main hunter on a ladder. This is like late1800's to early 1900's hunting. I've found this to actually work in Iowa. Well like your first rabbit seemed to be close back to your truck. Give it a try when all three of you hunt.

Jacks are almost extinct here in Ontario. They got an eye disease and died off. I agree 22 air is potent for small game. A hundred is a hot day to hunt. How do you get rid of the tics? Good vid. Peace.

You should get you a travel compressor... I love mine,bought an non badged model and small pony bottle,had the bottle filled and use the compressor to top it off,i still have my hand pump for a backup.. But...im done with the pump..

Just had to watch this after seeing your latest clip where I recalled my own youth of hunting rabbits with my father & brother. Fun times & where we live there was once huge populations of rabbits with many farms & good feed & water for them. Not as harsh as Europe in our area in Australia & the foxes & other predators could never keep the population down so we always had plenty of targets. Recent years the government released the Calicivirus which really knocked down the population which was causing lots of damage & displacing native wildlife too.

@@tracybush1970 airsoft wouldn’t pierce, I started using gamo air rifles and the 177 has been extremely effective for taking out ground squirrels at my work. I put bait pads out for them to come to and stay about 50 yards away, smack em 1 shot and have my dog finish anything that lived through a bad shot. I suggest a good dog with prey drive and a gamo air rifle

@@IEatMyCatch i def have a prey driven dog .. hes an old timer at 12 💜 hes in a limited space, he still has got 2 juveniles. but there is poison put out in those bait trap stations. too little too late. they are extremely established, i cant take it anymore. i hear that noise they make first thing in the morning 😖🤮

@@tracybush1970 yea my 7 year old husky gotten ahold of a poisoned rat one time in the barn. Super scary I thought we lost him, vet took good care of him and i had him back on the field in 3 days! A good dog is the best hunting tool, and it’s someone to talk to if your in the woods by yourself! Lol

@@IEatMyCatch oh no man thats my worst fear… dude i have a frankenPitBully of some sort. from the early XL bully breedings i guess? never expected the prey drive from this dog. he literally hunts everything. literally every thing. was okay with other dogs until at 9 months got attacked in our home twice by a visitors asshole dog. he completely changed after that. so did i if you ever told me that this bully experiment, would be this prey driven i wouldn’t believe it. also. this dog protects me i cannot explain how or why i have the honor of having an animal who loves me and my daughters so much.
