hi guys how have you all been?? i hope you guys enjoyed this week's vlog! honestly at the beginning, the rainy weather really made me anxious. i felt like everything was going wrong. but the universe really answered my prayers by giving me some good sunny days :)
also do not walk in the rain and wind (unless you really need too). coz as you can tell, catching a cold is no fun. i havent caught a cold in so long too lmao so this is kinda crazy. im feeling a lot better now so do not worryyyyy!

@@Lays4Dayz I once wrote a love letter to my situationship after I realised I had feelings for him. Then a couple of days later of him completely ignoring me I confronted him and he said he didn't like me anymore. So basically he stopped having feelings for me when I started liking him... HOWEVER I still ended up giving him my cringy love note because I felt like he needed to know how I felt and I did not want to regret not giving him it, you know? It was one of these "for the plot and memories" moments, because you only live once. You never know what will happen. Even if your feelings are not reciprocated, it's alright. Whatever you decide to do with YOUR love letter, I just hope you are happy and wish you the best.

as someone who lives in Edinburgh, one thing you should definitely do is go to the national museum, its so pretty inside, with lots of different things to see, i always go there with my bf every once in a while, there's also a cafe inside the museum so its pretty cool! im so happy i get to see more people come to Edinburgh! it really blow your mind away, especially during the winter festival :3

as someone who has family in scotland and visits a lot over holidays, people always ask me why it’s so important to me but they don’t see the beauty of scotland. its so much different to england and its so much more comforting. i’m more of a city girl who loves being alone but when im in scotland, its completely different, i love being around my family and my friends ♡ i miss it, i want to return soon. also as someone who struggles significantly with their mental health, whenever i visit, i’m so much happier when i’m there, its like i completely switch. this vlog is so important to me, firstly because you portray scotland beautifully but also because you aren’t afraid to say whether you’re feeling anxious or when you want to stay in, and that is so moving to me; you make me feel so heard. thank you ♡

i feel seen when i see you being scared to go outside and just leave your room in general. theres just so much comfort in your own room and the thought of leaving it and going out, being perceived is just so uncomfortable. but you do it anyways and some days it works out and some days it doesn't, but you do it and i feel so proud of u everytime :D

I'm not sure if u read comments this late after uploading 😆. But this vlog was so special to me. When u pick up ur camera in public to film life's precious moments and talk about ur anxiety it makes me feel less alone in the ups and downs. The people in my life don't rlly enjoy or have time for traveling, so I end up staying home because I'm too scared to even go pick up food alone 😣 I also hope you know ur not alone, and that ur vlogs genuinely help me want to get out of my comfort zone. 💕 I am studying abroad in Europe this August so I will be traveling solo for the first time. Everyone says "NEVER stay in!! ur wasting ur time!! get out everyday and socialize!!" . However, since I often get horrible bouts of anxiety and depression I know that's not realistic for me. Watching your vlogs, it's nice to know u can have a fun time and also take mental breaks without feeling like ur missing out. I hope I can keep this mentality when I'm traveling alone as well as throughout my life in general. 😊 You seem like such a genuine person, and that comes off across the screen ❤ Thank you Via, and I hope u feel better from ur cold now! 🤧💖🫶

Ahh, my Edinburgh... always raining, but I miss it. Solo traveling is great. Solo traveling to Iceland is also highly recommended and its safe. Just don't go during winter because you won't like the cold wind. Love the VLOG 💯

I’m so glad I watched this. I’m a total introvert with overwhelming anxiety 24/7, however, somehow I also solo travel. I always felt bad for those days where I would stay in during my vacations because of how social intense every moment feels despite it not having to be. literally this is like watching myself travel and it’s comforting to know that I’m not the only one. like you’re incredibly scared, however, you’re in a place you want to be and overall grateful. it’s always such a weird feeling.

Ur vlogs are so comforting. I know it’s probably hard to look back on,but those raw moments are so relatable to see. I struggle with anxiety and depersonalization a lot and it stops me from going places. I’m in college now but my dream is to travel and i worry I’ll just stay inside or not be able to enjoy it. So it causes me to over think and over plan like if I don’t have an exact plan for everything it worries me. Seeing u have a good time and actually have fun while traveling solo gives me hope ❤️❤️

Ohhhh...you missed so much in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Next time try doing a bit of research, particularly for Glasgow, as some of the very best parts - West End residential and retail area, Glasgow University, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, Botanical Gardens etc. - are a subway trip away (Subway is accessible just two minutes walk from Queen St. Train Station and is SO easy to use - it's a loop with trains going one direction or the other). The shopping district of Buchanan/Sauchihall/Argyle streets and Merchant City is also two minutes from the station. In Edinburgh, there is also the Royal Botanic Gardens and The Meadows, both offering plenty of great green space, with the latter being just a few minutes walk from the Royal Mile. When there, eat at Victor Hugo or Soderberg. And walk across to Bruntsfield and Morningside, two villages side by side, for independent shops and eats. As for feeling not so great: try ginger capsules. Depending on what ails you, these quell nausea and are particularly useful for anyone suffering motion sickness or vertigo. Unlike Gravol (some of which now come with ginger), ginger does create drowsiness. I take a couple just prior to travel and feel great. Ditto if I'm feeling queasy after eating something. You must come back and have another go!

Watching this as a west of Scotland gal is so wild to me- it feels so strange for some reason... ALSO- don't knock Glasgow! Glasgow is fun in its own way despite the fact that it gets a bad rep from tourists (mostly because it is way more deprived than Edinburgh unfortunately) However, that reason alone doesn't make it any less enjoyable/pretty as Edinburgh. There are so many things to do in Glasgow, trust me! Glad you had fun here though

Ah if only you had gone to the West end of Glasgow 😢. Glasgow city center is a bit ‘financial districty’ indeed. The West End is just a few stops on the subway or you can walk and has loads of nice cafes and places to eat, much nicer vibes than the city centre. Hopefully you can visit again in the future (and get a bit more sunshine next time 😅).

girl omg since you like green spaces if you come to the uk again you NEED go to the lake and peak districts!! lots of beautiful scenery and nature walks there (especially in wales)!! also, england has a ton of stunning deer parks! they’re all over the country but the one i know best (and can definitely recommend) is wollaton hall in nottingham - it always makes me feel really peaceful and at one with nature! love ur videos girl 🫶

I live in glasgow, trust. If u take the subway to hillhead, there are the botanic gardens and many other posh cafes that people enjoy, the university is a good visit too and there are galleries filled with art and culture. Glasgow in general has some of the UKs best architecture especially in the centre if you are a mackintosh, Alexander greek Thompson or just an architecture fan in general

didn't expect to see you go to my neck of the woods in glasgow! sorry you didn't seem to like your first impressions, but we do have a lot of lovely cafe's and restraunts: scran in dennistoun is lovely, cafe strange brew has amazing pancakes! glasgows absolutely worth a second visit

As a person who live sun the UK - the weather makes me feel miserable lol so it’s also hard for me to go out. Because I’m scared - what if something happens to me, or have a panic attack or something 😢 that’s why I’m scared
