Hey Lisa! I've been watching you since you had 40,000 subscribers. This new typed words at the beginning is hard to read when watching on a phone. It's also very "her 82sq meters" which i can't watch for the same reason as I'm vision impaired and just can't see white on white or lighter backgrounds. Thanks for not doing it through the whole video!

Hi Lisa you and I are the same age 38 about to be 39 and almost share the same birthday. This is very off topic from the video above this just feels like a safe place to mention this topic. I believe I'm starting early stages of perimenopause and I'm quite scared honestly. I'm being told I'm too young but I know my body. Are you or anyone else viewing my question here going through this issue and what are some natural ways to relieve symptoms?
@jackimanley3056
@jackimanley3056 День назад
Same. I'll be 39 in January. I have a very healthy diet and I stay fit. Even still, I have signs or peri menopause already. I'm taking chaste berry. Look into Dr Aviva romm hormone intelligence :)

I'm older than you and I'll tell you something I should've told my younger self. Many women begin perimenopause around that age, and they often hear "you're too young." 🙄 But there’s no need to fear it. You can embrace and enjoy every stage of life! Surround yourself with positive people and listen to your body's signals. Ignore the pressure to "work until you drop"-prioritize good sleep. Dr. Mindy Pelz offers great insights on menopause stages and nutrition, including when to consider intermittent fasting. Don’t worry! I’ve felt better in my 40s than I did in my 30s. It’s absolutely possible to embrace this time! ❤️

I’m 50, but I went through menopause in my mid thirties and had my last period at 38! 😮 I highly recommend you get a check up from a female gynecologist who listens, because everyone kept telling me I was too young as well and wouldn’t listen which made it much more difficult to navigate. I also recommend you start taking Vitamin D now, because your bone density is affected by the lack of hormones. I take evening primrose oil, magnesium and St. John’s Wort. Get lots of exercise and focus on strength training. Make sure you drink lots of water and get lots of rest. Oh! And carry a fan and a hair tie in your edc bag for those “power surges” it helps!
@allisonweeks504
@allisonweeks504 День назад
Hi! I’m 51 and nearing the end of my perimenopause journey which started around 38-39. I will tell you that just the fact that you are aware of what is happening with you body and that perimenopause is a thing, gives you an enormous advantage. I had NO IDEA what was going on, I just knew my body was changing and that I was too young for menopause. However, I’ve since learned that the average age for entering full menopause is 52 and most women go through at least 5 years of peri, many have 10-12 years. So, you’re really not too young. I would say the most important thing you can do is track your cycles and symptoms religiously! That info will be so valuable for you to see patterns in everything from mood swings to night sweats to cycle irregularity. Seeing the patterns will give you a lot of peace of mind during a time that can feel foreign and chaotic, it will also help you communicate with your healthcare provider about any issues you are concerned about. My second recommendation is if you are not already doing so build a habit of daily exercise and incorporate a couple of days simple strength training. NOW is the time to get those habits down, strengthen your muscles and bones, so that as you age you will be less susceptible to injury, falls, and disease. I have also found that a magnesium supplement really helped with the sleep problems I developed in my early 40s. You may need to up your iron intake as well if you experience heavier periods, as many women do during peri. Good nutrition will also go a long way to keeping you feeling your best (limit alcohol…your body just won’t process it as easily anymore). Don’t be scared! It can be a bumpy ride, but you will get through! 💕

We still have some flowers in our lawn, however, we can't bring them inside because I am allergic to flowers, etc...However, for just a little while longer I enjoy looking at them in our lawn. My husband plants all our flowers and in our containers. However, here in Pennsylvania it is starting to get cool not just in the mornings but in the evenings. MAY I ASK HOW YOU AND LUKE KEEP THE FLEAS DOWN ON YOUR ANIMALS, DO YOU TREAT THEM WITH FRONTLINE, ETC...Thank you.

I'm not a fan of pumpkin, but I once had pumpkin soup in Boquete Panama about 15 yrs ago and loved it and I would love to try it again. PS. You are looking more and more beautiful as you age.

I love it! Never a dull moment on the farm.😊I made pumpkin butter once and on hot biscuits it tasted like a pumpkin pie! My mouth is watering while watching you cooks yours. I love harvest time. There are still flowers, veggies are still coming in, and saving it for winter is my all time favorite thing to do. In fact, I canned my own pumpkin syrup last year for my lattes. I got the idea from my local coffee shop that makes all their own syrups. Your pumpkin shaped bread was beautiful! It thrills my heart to watch how your channel touches the lives of so many! Thank you!

When I started sourdough over a year ago now, I tried to read and learn online without photos or anything my starter had bubbles but was not ready yet my 1st bread wasn’t bread but was a flat rock 😂 I kept trying for a bit but then gave up and left my starter for a few months, I actually got back into bread with dry yeast… and thought to try again with sourdough and I’m so glad I did, I looked into videos this time and that is how I found you, and learnt so much and just how wrong my starter was I spent over a week to fix it up and now know how to make great bread and literally everything sourdough, I still see so many people over complicate sourdough online which is really intimidating especially when you’re just starting, when it is so easy
