Hi Sophie, glad you are back. I remember when my kids were growing up and had all kinds of activities. they have all left the nest and I have recently retired. I now have much time to knit and I love every minute of it. Love your Hermione’s sock. The colour is gorgeous. I am making a pair of socks with Xmas yarn for Xmas I July. Socks are always a good palette cleanser. Cannot wait for your next episode.

Hi Sophie, thanks for sharing your lovely projects, I enjoyd watching this episode. Loved the Big Smoke sock pattern and the colours of the yarn you used to knit them. The stripes in your Tolsta tee are not very wide, may-be you could have carry them along to avoid weaving in all these ends later? Good you don’t mind weaving in ends, though. I myself also don’t mind it actually when the result is worth it, but sometimes it is good to make your life easier, is’nt it. 😊 Have a great Summer!

I am so impressed by all your projects and how consistent you seem to be in your making. Summer sees me not knitting much, although I am trying some summer fibres this year and that seems to be working. Just finished my first Telstra tee last week. It was such a quick knit. I’m currently on a “break” but I always have some sock yarn in my bag. It’s my “Emergency knitting”. Currently my sock yarn is turning into a Musselburgh hat but I do actually occasionally use my sock yarn for socks. Thanks for another lovely episode!

Yay Sophie, I'm so glad to see another episode. I totally agree that the tee you are wearing is fabulous. My only slight criticism would be if you could put your yarn amounts on your Ravelry page. I'm assuming you knit this with three skeins, but not positive. The pattern page will tell me what to do. It's so beautiful I want to duplicate it. Thank you for sharing the sock pattern. I love that texture pattern and I'm wanting to have patterns for all different types of heals to decide what I like best. This came at the perfect time, scrolling online the other day I saw a skein of yarn I cannot stop thinking about. I have gone back and looked at it over 5 times in 2 weeks. I think I will buy it and a mini then maybe have enough for a hair accessory of some kind. 💙

If you check Hermione’ everyday sock has a different pattern. You knit a broken rib stitch which is different. Your are so beautiful in these colors.

Hi Sophie! I’m making lots of socks this summer- I just finished some colourwork ones called Summer Meadows by Stone Knits (trying to use patterns in books I bought!) and I just stocked up on sock yarn on a recent trip to Ontario. I love your Seashore Stroll tee and need to get some yarn to make my own. Currently have a sweater on time out because I’m debating on sizing up and tried on the yoke and I’m the same as you “it’s just a bib and I’m not sure what to do!” 😂

Hi Sophie...again I always love your podcasts...all your socks r gorgeous and your sweaters...soo pretty...don't be hard on yourself for making mistakes...I'm the exact same way but everyone says it's a part of our knitting right...lol...have a wonderful vaca❤❤

Hi Sophie. It’s so great to spend time with you again. You’ve had so many great projects to share in this episode. I’ve been inspired for sure. The Seashore Stroll tee is stunning and that blue color looks so great on you! I’ve been considering making the Tolsta Tee as well but it will likely be next summer before I have the time. Maybe I’ll make up some long sleeve versions for the winter. Can you tell me what gauge the fingering version is written at? I have tried to figure it out from people’s project pages but no luck. I’m going to be casting on the Amelie tee by PetiteKnit and the Rib Tee from Knitting For Olive but I have to finish up some patterns I have to release for the fall first. I’m just having the best time knitting for summer this year, lol. Thanks for another fun episode. Oh, and don’t stress over the longer episodes. I personally love them. ❤ HUGS 🤗
