Sophie, I always get so excited when your videos pop up on my yt feed. Never say sorry for a longer episode we enjoy you and your short or longer episodes :) I love all the things you're working on and that breaking dawn shawl is gorgeous, what a great finish to add to your shawl collection!!! Thank you for the chance to get a sock pattern, I love that you also enjoy pattern socks and don't just knit vanilla socks.. I like both but love pattern socks more to keep my interest but also have a vanilla sock on the needles for on the go when I want to knit but am also doing something else that needs my attention.

Happy Mother's Day Sophie! I am working on my 2nd Tolsta Tee, such a great pattern in fingering and DK weight. I love knitting socks all year round. I have to thank you for the link to the Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookie recipe from a few episodes back. It is such a delicious cookie that my middle son couldn't stop eating them.

Using a strand of silk mohair will also give you the reinforcement that socks need.

Hiya Sophie.. all the way from Perth, Australia. Always get so happy when I see you have a new episode! I enjoyed this podcast a lot.. and I just happened to be knitting a pair of SOCKS for my darling man using Nutiden yarn, which is an unspun yarn. It makes the most snuggly, warm socks ever. The pattern is actually a recipe, which is free, by Miss Evil Knits. She is a wonderful knitter, and shares quite a few 'recipes' for different items like mittens, beanie, vest etc. Have a look for her.. Annelise is very inspirational 🫶

Great to see you back here. I am going to Knit City Toronto and have been saving my pennies to spend! Currently working on a summer vest and also will be casting on a Tolsta tee. You're not the only one who hasn't made one, even though I have had the pattern for two years😆 I just finished a pair of Nancys socks, I love all of her patterns.

Sophie, perhaps you have already noticed, but among those 3 skeins of sport-weight yarn you purchased for the Jennifer Steingass Forsythian, there is one skein that is definitely darker than the other 2. Sometimes color differences are easier to see on the screen than with the naked eye, so I thought I would comment on it before you dive into that project.

Hi!! Yes, I know there is one of the skeins that has a darker patch when i bought it. They were the last 3 skeins and I just couldn't leave any behind 😂. I will definitely need to be careful and alternate the skeins when knitting on the body! but Thank you so much though for reaching out and letting me know. I truly appreciate! Hi Sophie, the reinforcement thread you showed may be Lang Jawoli sock reinforcement thread. I believe yarn shops that carry Lang sock yarn will carry it. Thank you for sharing your knitting. I’ve added a few of the tees to my favourites.
