Hi friend! Do you have spring fever like I do? I am ready for warmer weather and to get outdoors! I love mild spring weather and listening to the birds chirping. It's so peaceful!
As much as I wanted to decorate my front porch on a beautiful spring day, the weather has not been cooperating and I didn't want to wait any longer.
So join me today on a chilly and snowy spring day as I bring a little spring to my small front porch.
We'll also make a little trip to Michaels for some baskets and floral stems!
I'm so excited to take you along as I refresh my front porch for spring. I hope this gives you some decorating inspo for your home as well!

I never comment on videos, however I think that you and your husband working on projects together is a wonderful way to accomplish tasks and sets a great example of kindness and support for each other! We've renovated over seven homes, and we always work together. It was something that we did not only as a couple, but also with our children. Now that our children are grown, they have skills to help and bless others as well. Great job, on decorating and renovating your home!

Thought your porch turned out beautifully, but you made me laugh when you kept turning round remarking about the huge snowflakes pouring down. Not only that, but the more springy you got on your porch, the more wintery the weather became around you, I felt so sorry for you, but at the same time was laughing my head off, thought things like that only happened to me, but guess I'm not alone. Those white lilacs you got were really gorgeous, I haven't seen those over here, but you can bet I'm gonna have another look for them. And I just can't believe you re-did your whole porch using just that one flower and it turned out looking that great. Well done. 🥰🇬🇧🐾🐾💖

In East Tennessee we call this “dogwood winter”. We’ve had to cover our plants for about a week. It’ll happen again in May and that will be called “blackberry winter”.❄️

I sympathize with you and the "come on Spring!" situation. Being born and raised in the Bronx, we made the big move to northern Georgia and it was the BEST decision we ever made. We started our spring at the end of Feb with our daffodils blooming. Great 4 seasons..not extreme. Come on down!!

4/6 and we finally have blue skies and sunshine in the Grand Rapids area of Michigan. I went to Michaels a few days ago and the flowers and colors just took my breath away. They’re doing a great job this year of bringing in Spring. I love your baskets and lilacs! And thank you for including Wayne.

Here in NC in one week we had highs in the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s with lows in the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. We always say NC is the State with all 4 seasons in one week. That’s our Spring here then we just jump full force into high humidity summers and summer lasts until November 😂 Home Depot is the best for Ferns. Lowe’s wants $26 each for theirs 🥴 You scored some beautiful florals ❤

Oh my goodness, I love RU-vid because you learn so much about how other people live. It is snowing in April where you are. I live in Texas near Houston, and every day, my daughter and I pray for God to hold off the heat so that we can have a normal spring like other people 😁 Yesterday day, it was 86° Yikes! Eighty-six is not to bad, but the problem is when it hits 90° it just gets hotter and hotter. I love the baskets on the doors. The porch looks beautiful, and your sunny day is coming. Wisconsin has snow too. "I" would add some long ribbon tails down your baskets to fill the void of the glass door. Double face satin in a moss green. Wish I had a Michael's near by. All I have is Walmart and Joanne's. Looks lovely.

Love the baskets on the doors... I actually bought the same one as a hostess gift for Easter brunch and filled it with fresh tulips sinc e it has a plastic liner. I love the wicker chairs. But since your porch is all white... I would spray paint them a moss or hunter green so they would pop. Your porch is absolutely gorgeous with that arched brick and those double doors. I would love to have a space like that to decorate for the seasons. My brain is going crazy with ideas!!!!

Very pretty! Who cares what neighbors think - if you like spring out now with snow - do it! Hey a large "Shale" colored gingham fabric for those porch pillows would be pretty with a soft green ribbon might look pretty. Robert Kauffman has a large-sized greenish gingham.

Absolutely beautiful Spring front porch, Jenn. The rug is similar to one I've had for years and love it. Awesome door decor. We have adorable purple finches and wrens building nests - after their daily breakfasts at the feeders. Hi Jenn. Here in CO! It was 72 yesterday, and 49 rainy and windy today. I’m sure we have more snow coming our way. Those baskets look beautiful on your doors. I’m going to copy you for my spring porch, but not for a few more weeks

We live on 80 acres in WI. We had near blizzard conditions on Tues. But today is really warm & sunny. I have a 90 yr. old farmhouse and I have double French doors on the front of my house and a old fashion porch w/spindles ,posts & gingerbread-like trim. The porch is painted red, white & blue. A lot of work but so pretty. In our area NO one comes to the front door, even the mailman or truck deliveries, always the back.. But I love the basket idea in front, very cute. We have a pole barn and have a ton of lawn/garden items that I'm anxious to get out. Most old farm items I use as planters. This yr. I will plant seeds in hopes of, lowering my nursery expenses, as I spend a lot on flowers. I have 8 flower garden, all in a different theme. Can't wait to see your progress.

No one hardly comes to our front door either, usually just the Amazon delivery or if want to sit on the front porch but it’s still fun to do. Hopefully spring is around the corner! They look pretty hanging on your doors. I have a flower arrangement in a basket hanging on my front door and yes I have a little birdie nest with 3 eggs in it! It's fun watching "Little Momma" as I call her fly in and sit on her eggs.

Wow, you are ahead of the game, good for you ... and your porch looks so pretty! I've lived in WNY my whole life (as you know ☺), and have never even THOUGHT of setting up my porch til mid-May, lol. But this is a great transformation to spring! Love the beautiful door baskets! And the chairs look great there (you can always spray paint them to whatever color you'd like, btw 😉).
