I'm so glad to see vegan soup recipes for the traditional stove top, not just instant pots!! As someone who doesn't have an instant pot put does currently have a house full of sick people, this is, like, actually perfect

I agree! I just have simple items as we are minimalists so if I got an instant pot I'm not keeping a normal pot which seems ridiculous.

When using the soy curls in soup I like to break them into smaller pieces before adding to the soup. They're really easy to break when dry, and they're easier to eat when they're bite sized.

Just made the lentil soup and it's delicious! So flavorful! Tonight I served it on top of a bed of julienned spinach. Tomorrow I'll probably steam some zucchini and drop it in my bowl of soup. So many options! Thank you

Hi from Australia. I love this video. The stew looks fantastic! That red lentil one is actually a Turkish soup. Ate it all the time when I lived in Istanbul, as a starter, on it's own, for breakfast at three am after a night out, whatever. Have you tried a version called ezogelin? It's got tomato paste and mint instead. Highly recommend you try it.

I have a soup for you! It's been made here in North America for thousands of years. And nowadays comes with an interesting cultural/ Geological challenge. Traditionally it doesn't have meat in it and before Europeaners came here we didn't have eggs or milk. It's called the three sisters soup/ stew. The three main ingredients are corn, any squash and any beans. And today, the challenge is to only use ingredients that naturally come from the America's.
