CPA Auditor Speaks About the Nontransparency of the Commissioners 

A CPA/auditor talks about the lack of transparency in Charlotte County. Once she gets the financials she will be looking at them.
In case you haven’t been following, the Charlotte County Commissioners are attempting to raise the fire assessment by 25% on top of their other increases. This highly qualified auditor will be looking at their financials. We hope she will bring her results to our next upcoming budget hearing which will include the fire assessment increase, on September 7, at the Charlotte County Event Center.
The 25% increase in your Fire assessment will be discussed at the first budget hearing at the Charlotte County Event Center on September 7th, starting at 5:00PM. Please show up.
