CP 8746 leads train 252 east, out the CPKC's Chicago Subdivision. KCS 4690 is the mid-train DPU. This was filmed at the North Mount Vernon Road railroad crossing in Harper, Illinois.
Nice catch! I definitely like the P3 horn on the lead locomotive. Reminds me of a Wisconsin and southern locomotive. I can tell these signals were installed sometime between and early and mid 2010's cause of the invensys rail gate mechs instead of Siemens, the GS type 2 and the fact that the bell Rings through the entire activation. Correct me if im wrong though.
Couldn't agree with you more! I have always been into railroad crossings out in the country essentially in the middle of no where. Flat open spaces is my kind of land.
