I have grown up around drag racing my father Donnie Holm was either the first or second guy to make a billet hemi head for alky and fuel car. It’s a argument and I was too young to remember but I think my dad had the first set but Ken was first to mass produce them. I remember it took days to machine a set. And this is back when CNC machines worked off ticker tape rolls. It took like 6 rolls to do one head. Thank you for all you do to preserve the history of the sport!! The history of drag racing is what it’s all about!! I was lucky enough to work on some pretty cool cars!! My dad bought Alan and Blaine’s TAD championship car when they move to top fuel. My uncle Rick bought Bob Newberry’s olds cutlass the candy red and yellow one that won everything back then and about 5 years ago I worked for the guy that bought manzos deal after he retired . We got a lot of crap because we took the brad motor out and ran Miners MBR mts hemi .... but we won the first race we ever showed up to in Woodburn . I would just really like to thank you Bobby and also jake from state farm for all of his camera work!! Comp plus it the heart beat of drag racing and I can’t thank you guys enough for all that you do!! I work on big show cars mainly but my heart is in AA/FUEL !! I really hope we can bring the California charger out to bako for the reunion for some redemption . The vid you guys made of her to Astro creep would be a lot cooler if we didn’t blow the borrowed blower from mad mike up at 800’ feet. Frank Mc3. Dude, u have never even driven on a dragstrip, so your opinion doesn't even count. Racing your minivan at a stop light doesn't count as being a drag racer. I've been 3.90s in the 1/8 and low 6s in the quarter. And I'll tell u, short tracks are sketchy and alot of fun and it takes more skill because the better driver will win most the time. On a quarter u can have a bad light and run someone down, but not on an 1/8. But u wouldn't understand. U never even knew about drag racing til good ol Skreet outlaws
