Finally something that solved my issue .. I changed my hdd to ssd still it was very slow .. It was stuck at 0.48 .. By your method now its back to life at full speed 2.1ghz

I was also facing this issue that whenever I plug in my laptop the speed reduces drastically to .19Ghz and it was so frustrating. I tired this and it does the job. I was quite reluctant when u mentioned to use at ur risk. But for my situation there's no sign of overheating or anything of that sort. Thanks

I don't know any such way. You can add throttle stop to the startup folder. The app will launch as soo as you boot Windows. You just need to turn off BDPROCHOT.
This one indeed works. My HP Pavilion Power Laptop has that problem wherein when you plugged in the charger the CPU Speed will drop to .79ghz but when the charger is unplugged it go up to 2.5+ ghz. This Throttlestop actually works, but I'm scared that if might damage my laptop motherboard or CPU. Any suggestions? Thank you btw Sir.
Sry cause im late, but it wont! as long as you dont make a change by yourself not knowing what you are doing its fine... Your pc software (drivers) do the exaxt same as this program. The thing is the program is solving u a issue!

okay this video is well made and amazing. thank you. i got this problem after drivers uppdate on laptop. but is the cpu really damaged or is it just a bug ? if i juse this program does it just override the problem and it works 100% but i still can have damaged or bad cpu ? how do i know if its damaged ? i have warranty on the laptop so would be nice to know. thank you

After I plug out power cable of cpu n monitor, will the restored clock speed of 4790s .79 to 3.6 ghz will automatically work like we don't have to manually adjust everytime I shut down n pull out power plug from wall , I m doing this because our house wiring some issues can't let it sit standby pls ple pls tell sir 🙏
