Omg I have 2006 crv tried all the videos! found this video followed the written steps in the beginning dint even watch the video and bingo it worked ! Thanks so much! The trick is the headlights turn them off!
Glad it helped! Hope you're having some happy holidays and it's not too 2020-ish, shooting you some good vibes! Thanks for watching and for the kickads comment
to do the guage test on 2015-present Honda Cr-v the Ex and above trims with pushbutton ignition in addition to the lights you have to first turn the headlights on, hold down the trip button, without pressing the brake pedal press the start/stop button two times to get it to the on position and turn the lights off-on-off release the trip button then press 3 times and the guages should self test. im sure it work on accords and other honda models with the pushbutton ignition on 2015-current models.
I have a 2007 honda CRV with a non working gas gauge. It always showing 3/4 full while filling up with gas. I see yours is 398 miles before empty. What is the number of miles when you 100 % fill up with gas? In this way ill just rely on my trip meter.
i did this now on my honda crv 2008 2.4 but the light of the abs, esp, cruice control, and others they don't light, also on the left corner down there's a light that says light control. on the screen it says error 1, what does this mean? how can i fix it?
My 2010 Crv Honda air condition not working I have checked all fuses their ok and gas too ok , but if I on the ac switch the ac clutch is working but if I do activation test on my scan tool you will see the is working, I do auto scan but I only find b1008 , but I want to know can this faults code causes Ac not working at the same time the remote too not working help me to solve this issue
I believe it does test the LCD segments, if they are flickering the Gauge Control Module has likely failed man, kinda typical. Good luck! Thanks for the comment!
My mom's instrument cluster was all jacked up on the LCD screen. We ordered a new one. It's easy to install u remove the trim where it goes and then remove 3 screws. Two on the side one up top. Then pull out unplug and plug the other in. 100 bucks on eBay for a used one
Error 1 means "F CAN communication". There is a high speed communication bus and the Gauge Control Module thinks there is something wrong, it cant talk to the PCM or the ABS Modulator or something. That is going to be a tough putt for a layman to work out.
Error 1 means "F CAN communication". The Gauge Control Module is having trouble talking to another module on the CAN network, PCM, ABS, SRS or TPMS. What's the issue?
@@PokuzFoint1982 that would be a pretty unusual failure for an F-CAN system. I think I would move on, check the seat belt switch, see if the seat belt shows buckled and unbuckled in the SRS data.
@@CARtastrophe365 and also when im driving sometimes the battery lights is on and off the mechanic says the alternator is ok and charging.dont know whats the reason
If you have a gauge issue, like a tachometer that does not work. Is it a network issue? PCM not sending engine speed? Crank sensor? Or gauge? If you do a self test and the tach still does nothing then you know it's a gauge issue.
