I'm battling this demonic addiction to this God awful drug. It's been 30 plus years since 1st being introduced hard to believe that I served my country while being addicted and still face an uphill battle

I sincerely believe that recovering a relationship is a completely valid reason to say quitting addictions. It is more any reason is valid. Congratulations on staying sober, thank you for your story, God bless you.

My ex’s sobriety date was August the 12th 2014 - he relapsed this February 2023 and it took about 3 days for him to be too far gone to listen to what anyone had to say. I don’t know how he is now :(😢

That’s a tough question to answer, as I don’t know his circumstance. Some times the best help we can give is a smile and open ear. People want to be seen and heard. Start there.
