Man I've been working on cars professionally for 40 years, have done some body and paint over the years. I've seen about everything there is to see in automotive and I'm not easily impressed, but you take shit I would have thrown away and turn it into parts that look better than factory, brotherman, I am impressed, not only by your work but the attitude you show about rebuilding this stuff. Keep them videos coming, I need something to watch that's positive after a long day of customers bitching. Thanks.
I thought the same thing the first vid I seen of him rebuilding a dash and painting it, maybe a month or so ago, still haveing trouble wrapping my head around it,this guy is awesome
There are no words to correctly describe what I just watched. It's like you took an ancient artifact and restored it to its time of greatness and made it even better. Which you did. Absolutely incredible.
I appreciate you showing the beginnings when you were confused on how to go about with this dash. I gives me that confidence to push through even when things get a lil tough. Dash came out great.
I concur, and I'm glad I stumbled across this channel. I'm in the beginning stages of an interior restoration on my own 86' GMC Sierra Classic. I graduated high school in 86' and I bought this truck intending to give it a light once over to flip, but after I drove it a couple times I fell in love. You can believe my wife was not very happy when I told her I was gonna keep it, but she'll get over it. Anyhow 1st time I've commented here but these videos are great
Just when I think your project is ready for the trash can you pull off a work of art. Every project you do is totally awesome. Thanks for sharing your craft. Much appreciated.
I believe you can spin gold from straw. Starting with something in awful condition, you make it look like new. Your work is nothing short of incredible. Well done!
I totally need to know if you have a good front windshield for a 1976 gmc c25 but a 76 C20 or even c10 windshields fit. I need one desperately for my truck!!!
@@SprayWayCustoms Bruh, I am watching your videos and its distracting me from all the other stuff I watch!!! Second, I dont care cuz your are a madman in the booth and with the fiberglass!!!! Third, where the hell is that C10 paradise, i need to visit that place with all my cash and cards, hit me back with the location please. Keep "Cuttin Us Back On"!!!!
How many people have noticed you are creating a master piece one handed while filming with the other and looking through the camera to keep it focused on what you are doing. Absolutely incredible.
Well what can I say #SprayWayCustoms #keepgivingame2playdagame.. man you gonna have my 2 door coupe riiiight with all these jewels you dropping... TIME TO GET SOME SHIRTS SO I CAN PURCHASE A COUPLE.. ITS A #RONDO THING...
Awesome job sprayway!! I have also been waiting for this one, the old square body's have special place in my heart. This is great information that can be used on wide range of things 👍 keep up the amazing work my man😎✌️
Awesome work!! I’ve been watching your videos and I am impressed with all your work. For a dash, would you recommend removing top layer of damaged dash befitting adding fleece, fiberglass, and bondo?
absolutely fantastic, Some of the best work around. We have got to start "making things" in the US again. This proves the talent is everywhere and you sure do have it in spades!

Man I've been building and customizing cars for 35 years and I gotta say that was the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. I've never attempted to do anything like that I believe I'll just leave that to the professionals outstanding job man
Beautiful piece of work, enjoyed it. I've got a 93 1st gen Dodge Ram with the thin plastic dash board. It's cracked with pieces and chunks falling off it. They don't make a dash overlay for 1st gens, only 2nd gens. Any thoughts for repairs to 81-93 Ram trucks? thanks for the video, well done.
You do an amazing job on these dashboards. Your attention to detail and patience in making them perfect is so great to watch. I can say the same for your work on the cars. You truly are a great craftsman. Thanks for the wonderful videos. Keep them coming. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome work brother! I love the honesty in the video and how you show each and every step along with the minor mistakes/ improvisations (air pockets). I'm so impressed. People with your attention to detail are very VERY hard to find now a days. What does a job like this run? Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the shout out Sprayway!! You da goat!! But now after watching your c10 dash video... I’m gonna have to throw mine away!! You killed it!! 😎✊🏾
I have no intention to turn upholstery a career, I just want to refit my truck. I’d like to thank you for showing the dashboard rebuild. Thank you for showing each step and explaining those steps.
First off you are an amazing artist DEFINITELY MADE A MINK STOLE OUT OF A SOWS EAR. Looks much better than new. How much can you charge for the dash repair job? Looks like a specialty that not too many are doing.
im just curious... what would be an idea or estimate to redo and customize that c10 dash. it just seems like a lot of wok. and it LOOKS GREAT!!!!. just trying to justify spending that much time and money. i have to prioritize. because i am on a budget with my build. with majority in body/paint and drivetrain. inside would have to be somewhat basic/ stock
Here in UK, we don't have your options, no wreckers yards full of trucks, we have to make do with what we have, or order from the US, in which case we don't know what we got till we get it. I've been ripped off more than once. My own truck is a 1970 IH stepside, 392 / auto ex USAF.
Great work! Just wish i had money for you do mine 1977 k20 dash, but lung cancer removed me to do something like this! Keep up the great work awesome work!
I cant stop watching this video. Im watching closely to each step along the way before I tackle this job to my C10. What advice would you give to someone like me that lives in Las Vegas where summers are 100plus degrees? Is there a coating that I could use to battle the sun and prevent it from fading or possibly cracking again?
Hey buddy great work on that Dashboard iam Fan for awhile now. Iam originally from Ft. Hood Killeen,TX but I live in Panama Overseas. Great work you do inspire the desire to accomplish many car Details thanks for realz.
I'm a square body truck nut. That is a gm truck 80 to 87 style dash. I'm not normally impressed with dash work. But you made a custom speaker and air vent area that are not normal for this style. Which I got to say dam good job. I got a better look then original. Bravo!!!!
I wish I could be a customizer... But my state gave me a license to do repairs. And because I accepted that license. I'm not allowed to augment the safety features of any vehicle. Especially not, padded dashboards. Restore them, to pre-accident condition. That's all we are allowed to do as actual repairers. Maybe when, customisation pays more than repair... ?
Hell, I like your work have a c-10 dash I need redo can you redo my dash Please? If so I'm in Houston how can I get in touch with you? I need it done ASAP.
I wish or hope you can show us viewers what it looks like in the truck in Australia we call em utes lol looks amazing. Thank you (RIP George Floyd) very sad state of affairs :(.
@spraywaycustoms hit that thang wit chemo, CPR, that electric shock and some mo shit. Brought em back from the grave. Whoever c10 that is better show Spray a lil extra love on the back end
you do great work.. wish u were in s.c. brother.. u take great care and pride in what u do. I've owned 8 c10 trucks.. of course 73-80 trucks have different dashes.. 81 to 87 are different
@SpraywayCustoms glad to see you still doing the deal , Painted my truck and used the guys info over at coating store . That Urekhem paint was actually a high quality product and so was the clear . Thanks , I need to contact you and get a quote for my dash whole my money is togather .lmk , ..I was wanting to do bisquit pleets.
How do you make sure that dash that are sent to you by mail fit after completing? I would think that adding fiberglass and bondo would make it a tight fit. Appreciate your videos, they help a lot.
This a good example of one man's garbage is another man's treasure but it takes an Artist with an extraordinary vision to do that and Glory be to God our Father who forever IS the Greatest Artist of all. In worst case scenario please consider this as positive criticism, it takes skill and talent to do bodywork and paint but most great painters are not so good at bodywork and vice-versa, I can tell that you probably spray professionally, the bodywork however is not professionally done because it shows on the paint but you'll get better. A paint job only comes out as good as the bodywork.
That center panel and the dash pad on the driver side has a very similar look to the front end to the 70's Chevelle's. Dash looks sharp. I like the mesh grill idea.
First let me say, you do some great work. My only question is this. When you are done, the dash seems to be a bit thicker than the original. Does this cause any problems when re installing the dash? Also, on a chevy C10, there are some clips that go along the top- that help hold the front of the dash down and I did not see those on the video. Are they something you just didnt talk about or is that something the installer has to worry about? Just wondering. Otherwise, that dash looks awesome. And the video was well done too.
Check out USC Fusion Bondo for your last coat. Also u pol dolphin glaze for minor flaws. It will save you a lot of time . Unless you don't like runny bondo.
I'm glad you put out multiple videos of the same kind of project. The Cameron dash you didn't have to redo the defrost vents and here you did. I'm going to have to as well. Also have to cut out hand side sections that are busted...
What a journey... that was impressive! Makes me want to try something, not quite this crazy. Please change up the music a little if the vid is gunna be this long though.
Great job... but the the camera movement made me sick. I had to stop and run to the bathroom. You did such a great job I couldnt stop watching. It came out really nice. Now I have to take some elker seltzer....
