Jeweler cheats on his wife and she gets half. After removing what she wanted and leaving "junk" behind, she sold to me. But she didn't realize the safe held a secret...
Congratulations!!! You earned them! Thank you for sharing! I literally woke the neighbors at 12:30am when you showed the pair of 5cts. Oh my god man!!! What a rush!!! I'm still reeling from it, adrenaline is a hell of a drug!
It’s always the little safe that is out of site and out of mind that hold the most exciting things! Congratulations on the find of a century I hope you do a follow up with the diamonds. They are quite extravagant and beautiful. Thank you for sharing the excitement with us!
Many variables affect a diamonds worth, mostly cut, clarity, color and carat. A 5.3 carat round diamond can range from over $20,000 to over $450,000. Wish we could see his GIA certificate, which has that info, then we could get a better value range. He could easily have become a millionaire with this find. That said, the two 5 carat diamonds, at a glance, from a video, seem to have a lot of yellow & brown color which is not desirable. In fact all 4 in the last case look like they have lots of color. The smaller ones seem to have less color & the big diamond in the ring appears to have inclusions (black/gray lines).
Just got the end! You are such a humble good guy. 99% not stolen by the way they are packaged, with certificates from GIA. 1% stolen if they were stolen from another jewelry store. That's how stones are stored till a customer designs a ring or pendant or earrings. I bet the SD cards holds digital copies of the certificates. The GIA website lets you run your own serials, i posted above, so i wouldn't have even involved the "authorities". When a GIA serialized stone is stolen the first thing the owner/insurance/etc do is report it to GIA and they flag it. Great video. I even had a tear at the end. Congrats again. E
You have done the right thing now lets hope you get to reap the rewards of them. Keep us informed because I think anyone watching this would be as excited as you are to wonder what they are worth to you. Cheers SafeCracker.
Sorry for all the comments but I comment as I see stuff and pause the video. Lol. So the Mois-Dia tester is a Moissanite and diamond tester. Moissanite is a lab created diamond-like stone. It generally has more fire or brilliance than a diamond. The unfortunate thing is the testers on the market, including the 2 you have (I own the black one), can't discern between the 2 stones. Disclaimer: I am no way saying your stones are Moissanite! Especially since you found the GIA paper work. Completely badass find!!! I was actually going to comment after you wrapped up the first part of the video but was glad to see it went on. I was gonna say that bench in the bottom of the safe, unless full of concrete, doesn't belong there. But like I said I was so happy to see that video continued. And when I made my first comment I seen other commenters mentioning diamonds so I got triple excited for you!! Keep up the awesome videos! E
Why did he have to “crack” the safe if she gave it to him with the combination? He literally said she told him only thing she left inside was junk. Lmao so they have the combination 😂😂
Oh, that was so exciting!! I like how you bring us along on your adventures! It felt like it was almost happening to me right as you were doing it! Thanks for sharing.
Jeweler's safe? It was owned by a jeweler, but it's just an old fire resistive safe. 850 pounds? The door on an ISM can weigh more than that. Just watched a few minutes.
WOW i just got to the part where you opened the second plastic case! I would say you just hit a $25k day! Easily! If not more! Color and clarity are the most important factors. Like VVS clarity and D color are top stones. WOW i am so happy for you! I work from home and watch, on average, 3 hours of RU-vid a day. This is now my most favorite video!! Congratulations! E
You have the stones with documentation. I don’t see how they could be considered stolen. Looks like you have Christmas, anniversary and birthday covered for the next couple years.
And LOL they aren't stolen. They could have been gifts for the mistress or gifts for his wife. The same laws apply to you that applies to storage locker auction winners.
How or where did the owner advertise this safe for sale? or rather how did you find the safe? or did the owner contact you? how much did you pay for the safe? ---- what is the name of the machine calibrator that you attach to the dial? is that something you made or is this a tool/machine available to locksmiths only? thank you --- I bought a sentry safe off craigslist --- the guy said there may be something in it -- I bought it for $10 dollars --- I have been trying to manipulate it open but I have not been able to do it.... after spending about 12 hours trying over the course of a week --- I may just contact the company and pay the $30 bucks for the lost combo--- but I don't want to--- I want to crack it.
I paid about $150 for it. Even if it was empty, I can sell for more with the combo to it. the machine is a DDM (digitial Dial Magnifier). Makes manual manipulation easier. Anyone can buy one. They are on Amazon. WOW. $10 is a steal for a mystery safe. email me and I'll see if I can help. Contact@scobieworks.com
The hidden safe is for robberies. If he is robbed and made to open the main safe they only get what he allows visible. Hence the costume jewelry. I would still check those stones. The little safe is the actual main safe, in a fake safe.
Nice man. This is a Jeweller's Safe in that it was owned by a jeweller. It is instantly visible as not being rated what is typical for jewellery storage. Still, adventure. Once helped to move a container after a staff member had dropped a diamond behind -- or so they said. It was there. Move the box back. The store then taped a folded manila file to the top so another could not go behind.
Hello, I have a similar safe that I forgot the combination for. It's 3 combination physical like this one. Is there any technique I can get it opened with 0 experience and no force. I want to do it myself by cracking the combination like you. Please help me? Do I need a stethoscope?
You gave them to the authorities to determine if diamonds found in a "jewelers" safe are stolen and you hope to get them back? roflmao I hope you do too.
I "lost" 2 beautiful and expensive rings. Ex claimed he accidentally threw out my grandma's miner cut in platinum ring. Years later, my daughter was in trouble and I had to pawn the only thing of real worth I had, a custom ring my mom had made with all the family heirloom stones in it. Life goes on.... $50 kept me from getting that last ring back but the daughter got clean and her son is now 17. A much more valuable "gem" in the grand scheme of life. Don't know why this video was recommended but hope you get them back from LE, they're yours!
I kept shouting at screen why did he not check that big box on bottom inside safe. Having blown open many Tango's safes to gain entry for phones computer hard drives etc.
Its a Mosler fire safe and several of the fire safes (which that is) have mini vaults with a rotating door. Its not a shitty weld job I assure you LOL, that sucker is attached and not going anywhere. I was hoping to see one inside before you got it open. Once it was open I was thinking out loud, where is the bottom? 🤣
Not sure I'm buying this. The wife didn't know about the diamonds and the husband didn't try to get them back? People don't leave things this valuable in safes in storage units that they sell to strangers. Now you've made yourself a target of burglars who know you have these valuables and can dox you. This whole thing smells either fake or very stupid.
Well, the husband seemed to be a piece of work. Im sure he hid other things fromt her. Not worried about burglars. Unless they want to rob the bank with my security deposit box.
You have the GIA reports on them they aren't stolen I would think. They were probably he's stash for a rainy day fund. Or maybe for special projects. Maybe the 17 year old on SD Card. Either way let us know.
Hey....found another one. Hope you got to keep the bling. Did you do a update video? I was sitting here yelling " SHOW ME !SHOW ME !!!!! All I see is yer back ! Now I'm confused, the comments are saying you found bling. You say its empty. I'll keep watching. OH...... there is more.OH MY.....If I subscribe do I get a teeny diamond??? Bwahaaaahaaaa. I'll shut up now..... this is fun.
Oh also I'll share your channel in all my rooms. I have a channel and am friends with alot of channels in different social media rooms. I'll get your channel out there
@@fredvalencia2205 no. Just to the authorities to make sure they werent stolen. All came back as non reported so wife will get diamond earrings for Xmas
I 100% support law enforcement but including them in this was a big mistake. It will lock these diamonds up for months if not years. After that long things go “missing.” Not all the time but enough that if you can keep authorities out of stuff like this you do so. The whole purpose of the GIA certification is to track the diamonds. If they get stolen and are reported as such the GIA will be informed. There is also the JSA (Jewelers’ Security Alliance).
