I believe this was real. I worked in a bank in the 90s and that's exactly how the bills came from the mint, those $100k stacks. U have better control than most people too. Most would keep at least some, if not all, and wouldn't have filmed it to prove what was in it.

I understand that it would be shocking but I don’t think I would react that way at all and I would definitely put everything back the way I found it and not combine it or anything since it belongs to someone else. 🤷🏽‍♂️

WOW! Just think, when that was put in the safe 30+/- years ago, it was probably the equivelent of 3 million+. Heck, even 4 years ago it would be equal to 2 million+/- today. Sad but true. Oh, also, I bet those letters were from when he was serving in Vietnam, and she was dutifully waiting for him to make it back home.

Well he was probably frugal with his money. Every time he got money he probably didn't trust the bank so got a safe. If a guy has a fair job and is careful 10k-20k a year can easily be accumulated. That makes 100 to 200k every ten years.

The time period you said that it wasn't opened most of the bags n letters would've deteriorated. Has to be staged. Who would just drop off their safe to be opened and not be there instead of just having you go to the safe? Then you even sit there going through their stuff for content while talking about cutting open the bags. Real world you would have went, opened the safe, got paid and left unless they wanted you to know.

Hopefully, they all still say they are redeemable in real money, i.e.. gold or silver. New money has removed that. She needs to exchange it all for gold and silver from a Fed bank. If she did it before they revalue gold, then she could 5x the amount instantly.
