This was the real Cradle of Filth. Brutal riffs, Dani`s high pitched vocals and Sarah`s voice is hands down one of the most beautfiul i have ever heard
This is a perfect metal band! Paul and Gian's masterful guitars, Adrian's brutal drumming, Sarah's incredibly blissful voice, Martin's a sorcerer with the keyboard and of course, saving the best for last, Dani's low growls and iconic death defying high pitched screams! This is perfect!!
That’s because he can flesh it out using layering and it becomes polished in the studio. Unfortunately, when you layer some, then in live performances, he has to pick a vocal and obviously can’t do them all at once like on the tracks. He’s a great on stage but a genius in the studio.
Thornography, i like a few songs from it. Im getting it now as we speak :) She does have a good voice and i think it goes perfect with the band. Sound guys have hard times at festivals cause everyone sets up their gear differently. I hate running sound on somebody elses gear. Makes me look bad for their mistakes :/
im almost afraid to go to one of their live concerts.....i might come out with dead black & strait hair...all black cloths.....spikes.....oh wait thats wut ive been wanting to do! lol

@loyaltytono1 there are so many songs of cradle i want on rockband... but i bet they will have some on the next guitar hero cuz it comes with a keyboard now

I used to think Dani used a Pitch shifter or something live, but i dont think so now. Im sure on the album versions of this there was some alterations with his voice, only a small amount.
You should reread my comment. i said he rejoined in 1996 after a BREAK. I implied he was with the band earlier. maybe I have to speak more directly so you can understand that? Secondly, no one was talking about who makes the music more recently (and we all know who contributes in the studio. It's not ONLY Paul), so why the need to state it? I digress. Paul's creativity in the last albums are golden still.

@PTR01981 guitarist? You talking about Paul? Because. . .he's been in the band as lead guitar in almost as much time as dani. If you're talking about James (the current rhythm guitarist), I don't think he's that bad. But paul is really a great guitarist. Been with the band since 1996 (with a break in between). And Paul and Dani are still in the band to this day.
Lol what are you getting so upset about??? I don't even understand what you're arguing against honestly. I never disagreed with you except that Paul's recent stuff is still golden. I was only clarifying that I DID say he had a break from Cof. He was in another band during that time and I have his cd from that time. You can truly hear Paul's magnificent influence there. He's a great and wonderful musician who still has the dark spirit in him.
@Heavymetaltbh89 i doubt that... the mastermind behind sc "filth whistle" is jon richard: former singer of hecate enthroned and former cof basist. hes screams are way better than dani's have ever been.... IMO!
@MudTide1993 no it makes the sound perfectly (and im actually pretty good at it), but it doesnt register on the pitch meter. i still like to play around n scream into the mic, but it'll usually end in me losing the song lol could be my mic, but i think its just the game
The chick was fine, the sound guy just had her way to loud. Backing vocals arent supposed to be above the lead vocals. I like this performance the best. Original line up FTW.
yeah but she does have a good voice and some great performances and not to mention on record too but she was out of tune at rock am ring and the sound was a bit crappy but thats usaully festivals for you and yeah the original line up was the best although i didnt think thornography was as bad as everyone made it out to be
