Dude, this performance was awesome. Dani's voice was damn near cd quality even thought he was obviously tired. All the morons complaining about his voice- Do you think you could sing like Dani for more than 5 songs in a row without getting tired and sounding like a trapped cat? I have this dvd, and his voice WAS 110% just like on the cd, untill after 3 or 4 songs his voice slowly gave out. But when you see something like this, it's truly amazing.
No. Nick Barker, former COF drummer, did play in Dimmu Borgir, but not anymore. I read somewhere that he plays in Testament now. Dimmu's new drummer is named Hellhammer. Not sure what happened to Adrian, but Martin Skaroupka is COF's new drummer.
Cruelty and the Beast is definitely one of their best albums by my ratings. This is certainly one of the best songs on the album, but Bathory Aria is easily better. Possibly the best.
@Fan666Maiden Back then as in during this DVD? Or during the Cruelty album? Robin Graves(Eaglestone) was the bassist on that CD, Dave Pybus is the bassist on this.
You kidding me lol! This voice is not like when he was young ahhah! When he was young, he was able to break glass if he wanted to. With this voice, he could barely reach my eardrum!
I posted this on another video... but this is REAL Cradle. It's a shame they had to go all glamour-gothic instead of staying Black metal/Death metal! The Principle of Evil Made Flesh, Dusk... and Her Embrace, Cruelty and the Beast the two EP's; V empire & From the Cradle to Enslave were the REAL Cradle people!! Cruelty and the Beast is by far their best work and sadly, doubtful they will ever top it.

i didn't post this video to make a controversy about what is black metal ... and you just keep posting comments about that. there are a lot of people out there that think COF is black metal....well, let them be fool,,, cradle is a great band and yes, they are not as good as they use to be(Vempire-Midian)when every single album was a masterpiece.If you don't like it, don't watch it.
@MrShortCropped I hear ya....but when I saw them live in Austin...their wasnt any mixing as far as I could tell and Dani still fuckin' owned that shit...I dont doubt what your saying though...Ive heard of a lot of bands doing that live when it's for a DvD.
dani's voice might be legend and this has been a band ive listen for years but... now a days im looking something tougher and cradle isent the same as they were... i mean, ozzy is tougher than this guys, im tired of this imaginative mystical metel... need tough stuff for men

Dani is still Dani? Yeah maybe he is still the lead singer of Cradle Of Filth, but he is not the same since 2002-2003. Not only his vocal, but also what he looks like. I mean, CoF from 1994-2002 had a great atmosphere, good vocal :), good makeup, nice suits and everything was really "metal". Now about 25 members later, they look stupid. No more vocal, no more makeup... some exceptions applies and Dani's makeup looks very gay... I'm a big fan of CoF, but I don't touch any stuff +2003!
If you've gone to their web site recently you'll note they don't want to be classified as "black metal" anymore. Let's face it, they're getting older - perhaps they want to experiment musically, I say go for it...bands that play the same music over & over, year after year are quite boring...
