Hi Gil!👋 The ruler is 16 mm wide and 3 mm thick. I didn`t know the dimensions of a standard "inch ruler" exactly, so i can`t say, if there is a difference. I designed this one and many other boomerangs and i acquired the experience, that it`s enough, when the wing profile has roughly this shape. I hope this answer was helpful for you both! Have fun!👍

Dass habe ich auch gedacht! Ich bin habe dem Zollstock gesehen und habe gedacht wie breit ist es? And also, that video was definitely shot in Germany. In Germany, tradespeople always have "ein Zollstock in die Tasche." Everywhere else they use a tape measure
