Do you have a Craftsman ratchet that is no longer functional? Have you searched for a rebuild kit for the Craftsman ratchet? The solution to make your ratchet may be easier than you think and may not necessitate a rebuild.
I love my daily user ratchets, a Proto 3/8 Drive, and a Craftsman 44809 1/2 Drive. Recently, I purchased 2 more Craftsman 1/2 Drive ratchets, and both seemed to have issues operating. Initially, I wondered if I would need to purchase a rebuild kit for each. I decided to take them apart to investigate further and found what is shown in this video.
