9:50 to 10:00 I don’t know what’s more unbelievable a chapter of space marines can defeat a craft world or a single zone thrope krumped an entire craft world.

If you want a moment Khaine kicked ass, there was a time when the avatar lead an attack on a space marine chapter. One of the space marines jumped on the avatars until his hand turned into molten stumps, and the avatar just laughed at him.

Tbf the Legion of the Damned showed up at complete random on Idharae during the battle whit the invaders, so probably it makes enough sense that the craftworld would be destroyed, even though the LOD shouldn't have been involved at all.

Actually Old Man, I heard somewhere (may have been a WolfLordRho video) that the Asuryan was prayed to recently (relative, as I am speaking from vague memory) and apparently as the one making the prayer walked out of sight the flame of Asuryan lit anew.

I gotta admit, I didn’t know anything about these guys beyond “wraith construct spam” and “incredible eyesore of a color scheme” until now. Now I want to see them team up with the Salamanders, the Farsight Enclaves and that Necron dynasty Old Man’s narrator is from so I can have a four-way Axis of Noblebright.

Ah yes the Eldar, one of the few things the Tyranids are allowed to actually be shown beating, to everyone else if "on screen" the nids are generally about as effective as mister Worf. An avatar of Khaine did take down a greater daemon(?) of Slaanesh in the most recent Caiphas Cain book.

impressive as it is, one can actually wound an avatar of khaine with heat related weaponry nowadays. when it comes to fast flying eldar, the usage of appropriately ranged tank and vehicle formations is advised. glasscannons are outgunned without cover or by lack of range. wraithbone stuff may be tended to with melta and plasma variants. superheavies...try artillery crustacean crushing.

The only factions I can think of that know how to fix their own stuff are the Tau and the Orks, and the Orks are iffy depending on how you define "know".

Love Craftworlds, just wish they did more than use the wider roster as blood bags for drama. "Where we pretend to give a shit about anything other than the imperium of man and chaos" eeeyup. Because why talk about how the professional surrogate grief elves were shown in one of the few good ideas of WH+? I mean, the Drukhari are basically THE faction of evil because they're evil (as opposed to hungry, stupid, ignorant, desperate, zealous, or brain poisoned by Chaos). Are we surprised what they're descended from? 5:00 sounds like a splice of heaven and valhalla. I'm more annoyed at the Legion of the Damned randomly showing up to kill a Craftworld than the zoanthrope. Like, they're only supposed to show up in times of great need for the Imperium. Attacking a background Craftworld is not that. Every path of the Warrior? Impressive. Also, got the love the lightning monocle. Yes, that thing shoots lightning. And that is awesome. Now I'm imagining a Tau embassy mission to Iyanden with them getting settled in with their small garrison (They'd be trusted more than the Inquisition) to bring token forces to feel secure and help defend or at least keep the embassy alive)... only for yet another invasion to come rolling in. How-? Too often. Will-? We survive? At this point that's highly questionable, but the Craftworld will endure. Are-? Those the ghosts of our ancestors going to war for the umpteenth time after dying? Yes. I could see the Inquistion embassy having a very small garrison confined to small arms that have been scrutinized. Besides, set them up in a more depopulated area and point Eldar spy equipment at them. Show them the devastation and keep an eye on them. Proper frenemy cold war stuff. Yep? So you agree that sometimes good characcterrs and factions are needed to keep it from being pitch black as opposed to grim dark? Well good news, a whole main faction is built around that. VERY. POINT! And it's part of why I like them the best. Weird, usually it's the gameplay that gives you off brand diet product. Phoenix lords are indeed pretty cool, though the only one I know lore about is Maugun Ra for being so extra, and the... I always forget their name, but it's the one with the jetpacks and prism cannons. The Tau WERE good people, and they're still coming in third behind Ianden and Farsight. Maybe if there had been less moaning and groaning at the straightman with rational ethics, they wouldn't have been dragged down to closer (but still well above) Imperial ethics.\ I mean, some of the Eldar dickishness is just bad Imperium-centric writing for cheap conflict. Not all, but a large chunk.

actually no abbadon hurt the hive mind much worse by creating the great rift. it caused a mortal blow to the hive mind that caused it to reel in pain they cover the events in the devastation of baal books.

I do have to wonder how powerful the Tyranids actually are when an Eldar was able to make the hivemind feel pain. Doesn't feel like the galaxy-eating supermass that that one unofficial picture likes to interpret.
