His son died in a boating accident when he was only 19. Very sad. He's an amazing songwriter. You'd love "This aint nothin", "Tough", and "Almost Home".

This is a very strong person but still he has to deal with his son gone physically but still here in spirit, I know God allows our loved ones to come and comfort us, I experience it myself

I lost my son in 1991 and I relive it everyday like it was yesterday. It never gets easier. The best way I look at it he's with God and in A better place.

Another song... Almost Home by Craig Morgan. He is truly an outstanding artist. He has a ton of great country hits.

He didn't plan on making a video. He planned on singing it once and only once. His friends convinced him to keep singing it.

This song came to him in a dream he woke up and said he needed to write it down. In about 4 hours this is what he came up with. So sad you can see the pain in his face and his voice..watch his grand ole opry or with Kelly clarkson. He has a song this ain't nothing you would like

Hey Quay. Funny I was watching a newer video of yours last night and left a suggestion that you listen to this. Craig has lived quite a life. He was an army medic. He also was driving with one of his kids one day and they drove up on a house fire. The fire dept. wasn't there yet and someone said there were people in the house. Craig carried 2 people out (I think kids) and when the FD got there Craig grabbed a hose and started helping out. Really good guy. His son was 19 when he passed. He went on a river tubing weekend with some friends, and somehow ended up being drowned. Craig wrote this to help himself deal with it. He swore after he recorded it he would never sing it again. A couple of his friends in the music biz told him he could help people who were going through the same thing so he had to keep doing it. Then people at his concerts kept asking for it. I have seen him sing it on TV shows and he has done it at the Grand Ol' Opry. I have never seen him do it without crying. In fact for a while the guy who does the harmony and back up vocals in the band watches Craig during this song and takes over for a bit when he loses it for a few seconds, until he gets it together again. Beautiful tribute to his son. Another song I mentioned in that comment I left on the other one was another one of his. Called "This ain't Nothing". Great song also. Quay I just want you to know that after watching your reaction to the father the son and Holy ghost reaction I've finally been able to cope with the loss of my son while waiting on my new baby to get here. Yes my wife is expecting and YOU have helped me cope with my many many emotions... ty so much for song what you do. Keep going.

Christ may not fully heal our wounds of grief, but he's our shoulder. He's our protector. He's our comforter. He's the king of kings. That being said, no parent should ever have to bury their child. It's nothing they heal from. My cousin shot himself with a shotgun to the head (he lived alone as an adult, but his mom came over that day). I can't begin to imagine the sight (well I can because Ive seen what a 12 gauge does to a head unfortunately). She told me she begged police to let her hug him but they couldn't allow it. I can't imagine anything worse in the world

Listen to the live version of it.. Then listen to him on the Kelly Clarkson Show. How hard it was for him to do this, yet in the end he has to do it to help others. He was really digging deep in writing and singing this song.

So...I absolutely love this song and as a father it breaks my heart every time..but on another note...things like ghosts etc intrigue me...at the beginning as she mentions the song is about the sons death, do you see the orb go from left to right from like the curtain to her hair and as it gets close to her she touches her hair..I know people may think I’m weird but I just happened to notice it and I was like wow

You should watch sing it on the kelly clarkson show. It was at least 10 Xs better
