Never thought I'd say this, but it's the real fans I feel sorry for, they're the only people who put money IN TO that club, AND are not responsible for any of this mess. After watching this programme. I felt a real deep concern in terms of what Paul Murray and Alistair Johnston were saying in regards to the cash flow at Rangers. Also, what was also a real concern was Craig Whyte's business past most of the companies he was involved with went to the wall. In the interview Alistair Johnston indicated that Craig Whyte never gave any character references as who he done business with in the past I mean if no one wants to do business then as Alistair Johnston stated
I am a celtic fan and without any prejudice against rangers, they look to be in real trouble. There is definitely something about Craig Whyte that would scare me if he was at the helm of my football club.I think he's biting off more than he can chew i.e. he's taking on all this debt thinking he can turn it round, when inevitably as it would seem, he has only made matters worse. Not to mention the fact that the man can't give the bbc nor rangers fans a straight answer. Administration imminent.

Fully agree with you.Had watched the clip before reading your comment and that thought had also entered my head when they were showing scenes from Ibrox.Ordinary fans paying good money to watch their team.They paid the price for their success with all that ludicrous money being spent on Flo etc.Look at Leeds and Portsmouth now.Can take up to 10 years to rebuild without the right investment.

I havent lived in Scotland for over 22 years so havent been able to follow my local club through "thick and thin", various reasons, work, finance, family, ticket availibilty and Mrs Haroldbhoy and khids etc having better needs for my wages, thats life, I live within my means. Pity RFC 1872-2012(RIP) didnt do the same.

Rangers need to liquidate if they want to regain respect they should then pay 10% of turnover to the govt/us until the debt is paid + interest
And for Celtic if rangers go bust/liquidation (whatever you call it) then sky, espn and all other people involved in the SPL will pull the plug on it all. Firstly I am not a rangers fan but can't believe an institution like rangers. can come to this , as a business man , firstly we're are the corporate lawyers, secondly accountant's, thirdly simple due diligence from the rangers board , fourthly why was the tax bill not tackled from the clubs accoubtants , why was there no warnings about procedures from fifa and rhe sfa , it should never have been allowed to get to this state , too many people in various walks if life didn't do their job correctly whatever their motive personal or otherwise and why has David Murray not been questioned , too many irregularities , rangers done wrong no doubt but where were the warnings at numerous levels, end of. Sevco will go into administration again due to their startling debt and average players. Charlotte Square financed the EBT years and as soon as the RBS crashed, so did Rangers. Souness must take half the blame for the demise of the club. However, their demise is glorious.
