Ally McCoist on Bizarre Craig Whyte Call 

I lived beside Craig in the early to mid 90's. We both had apartments in Glasgow at Lancefield Quay ( where the Waverley paddle steamer was berthed). I also had close friends who were at school with Craig at Kelvinside Academy - and they knew him well. Around the mid to late 90's Craig seemed to disappear and resurfaced a few years later when he was acclaimed by the Daily Record to be a billionaire. Anyone who had any knowledge of the man or his way of business would have known of this to be total nonsense. I was in The Netherlands / Cyprus at the time he "bought" Rangers and called by buddy in Kilbarchan ( a small village around 20km south west of Glasgow) to tell him that I couldn't believe what the media was writing and that Craig was in my opinion not a 'multi millionaire' never mind being validated as a 'billionaire'. Due diligence obviously went out of the window when this "deal" happened. You cannot make it up. Bankrupted in 2015, I wonder what Craig is doing now?

I remember watching Hibs v Rangers game at Easter Road when Ally and Colin West spent the whole game spitting in the face of Hibs defender Mark Fulton came over to take a throw in he ran his hand over his face which was dripping in spit the most disgusting things I've ever seen.
