my friends and I have been going there since 1991. Tried other places in Ontario but nothing could compare to Lochaven's fishing, food and accommodations. Eddie and Sue Crane make you feel like family! Love them and love Lochaven!!

Im really digging the fact that this lodge has pontoons. I've been looking at setting up a trip with friends for this summer and it seems most lodges only have smaller boats. for us, as a possible group of 6, we all want to be together, not split up. We also want the time on the water to be about relaxing, swimming and just chilling out as much as it is about fishing, a real multi purpose trip. Im guessing I'm not alone there. I think if more lodges offered pontoons they would open up a totally new demographic of people looking for a more varied Ontario lake experience. Just my $0.02 on this. Btw, Im really enjoying your channel. Great content and its opening me up to many new possibilities of places to go than I can find on a google search alone (many lodges have a really poor web presence and terrible web site too)
