We get to the Bahamas and our holding tank macerator fails. We can't dump our waste overboard and pump out facilities are quite rare in the country. We don't have a spare pump or any parts so this issue could dock us for as long as it might take to have something shipped from North America. Chris spends a LOT of time taking the unit apart in a very hot engine room, but finally diagnoses the issue. But can we find the replacement part? Thanks for watching!

Glad you got it done Cap! A portable ,manual Whale gusher pump is great to have on board as a spare- it'll pump out your waste tank as well as bilges etc..Mount it on a short piece of board and good to go.

That "oooh Jesus!" took me straight back to sitting on a shop floor next to a van, from under whence dad's legs protruded, holding three wrenches. Glad you sorted out your ... waste compactor

@@gothatawaychrisandsandra LOL! If/when I sell house in Houston and find a boat, the absolute very first thing I'm headed for is that impeller, regardless of anything else!...LOL!

@@theabsolutetruth2024 Smart! We haven't yet bought a new impeller, but we are back in Florida, so no need for it at the moment...but it is definitely on the list!
