I'm almost 60 years old. Grew up crappie fishing wirh my dad who was a master at 'thinkin like a crappie'. I lost him in 2012 and it took several years to get back on the lake. I've gotten real interested in watching crappie fishing videos to improve my skills. Richard, you are hands down my favorite! You are a true crappie fisherman and the best 'instructor' on youtube. Mr Richard, you have revolutionized my fishing. It is very rare that I get skunked no matter where I'm fishing. I travel for work and I get to fish from Pennsylvania to New Mexico. Watching you inspires me. ..my fiance of 5years passed away n i took a long hard bad road for years well ..I got saved and left old friends and habits behind. I’ve followed a ton of different fishing and hunting channels and normally after a few months I’m over them. For 2 years I’ve watched every single video of yours and some twice. Richard I fought a 35 lb buffalo in the Cumberland river for two hours and finally landed the beast. I did have a medium action rod and 10 lb test line. What an epic battle!!!

On your bad days, don't feel like you failed me. Does my heart a bit of good to know you have bad days too. I've fished my whole life, but I've always been a luck fisherman and your channel is giving me the fishing edjumacation that I need to teach my kids the pleasure of fishing.
