Nice video, I fish out of Highland every winter, usually around tourney time. I know the water you were fishing, did you try longlining on Woodruff or Dexter? bigger fish were being taken in the lake but I also had luck jigging pads in Norris dead river. Good luck I'm envious!

What are some of things you look for when open water/river fishing like this? I also fish Lake Woodroff & Dexter for crappie & bass year round. I don't have a great fish finder but always wondering what gives you insight for picking a good spot.
