The entire game had potential. But the drama between Traveller Tales and Universal caused it to come out the way it was. I wish the community would give the game a break, it tried it's best with the little bit of stuff they had to work with.
@@robertmackeymackey5521 Because a lot of elements thar the game has played them worse and more annoyingly than the previous 3 games(I'm looking at you monkey bars), the villains never get used(Crunch is the only boss), the vehicle sections bring the game down a lot(although a lot of the where cool and fun, some were low key annoying and boring), Cocoa was done really weirdly and is really annoying to use, some levels are really badly designed, and the underwater levels are just plain unfair(those goddamn bombs). But still, even with all these errors, the game was indeed still a decent and fun game. The community is really biased on the trilogy, since a lot of errors this game had where in the previous games as well, but only on this one their mentioned. The game honestly gets way too much hate and a lot of it wasn't even Traveler's Tales fault. If they where given more freedom and time this game could've been an awesome successor to the previous games.

Kaleb Levermore-Rich Cause it’s a piece of shit. Look at the fucking monkey bars speed. That stupid beetles reference submarine. The absurd ps2 load times. THE OVERWHELMING FUCKING AMOUNT OF VEHICLES AND STUPID GAME MECHANICS. The bullshit voice acting. The way-too-short sequences of floating heads. Wrath of Cortex will never truly be Crash 4, as Crash 4 is coming this October (can’t wait, looks so PEE PEE) and Crash 5 will always be Twinsanity.
I feel like we were ROBBED of a cortex redemption arc in crash 4 and I know it's in his character but every villain has their reasons...even of they are relentlessly a massive dick
I love how the Elementals were made with their actors in mind. Rok-ku is just flat out Biff from Back to the Future. Wa-Wa talks like the drill sergeant R Lee Ermey was. Py-Ro is still rocking that Joker persona. And Lo-Lo is pretty much evil Wakko.
It's kind of funny that mark hamil has voiced 2 flame villains. First being Py-Ro and the second is fire lord Ozai from Avatar. In fact he used the exact same voice for both characters.
I definitely think Clancy voiced Cortex better than Lex Lang. Clancy makes Dr. Cortex sound more cunning, sinister, and take things more seriously. While Lex made Cortex seem pretty incompetent, comedic, and doesn't always think ahead nor take things too seriously. It kind of makes Cortex seem inferior to other evil scientists in video games, such as Dr. Eggman, Dr. Wily, or even Dr. Nefarious.
@@TerrorOfTalos My point is, Eggman tricked Knuckles by making him think that Sonic stole his emerald, Like Cortex tricking Crunch into his control. And that Coco is The same as Tails, just different game.
@@K-Rocket damn crash and Sonic have so much in common it's almost uncanny to hated redesigns in be'em up games to the first 3 games being considered the best.
You can tell that Clancy Brown wasn't treated right with this game. His Cortex sounds great for the most part, but his Uka Uka was very inconsistent. It's unfortunate too.
@@DillonMurway Even if they did get him, how do we know the voice directors would get him to voice the character the way he did in the N. Sane Trilogy. He could have been made to sound like he was in the Radical Entertainment era.
@Jason Rodriguez I'm pretty sure TWoC can still happen. Crash 4 is supposedly immediately after Warped. TWoC is much more ambiguous. Especially since Crash has a CTR trophy here.
@@newgameld2512 Crash 4 is an alternate timeline that branches off from Crash Warped. So Wrath of Cortex and all the games after are one timeline and Crash 4 and all the games that will probably come after it are another timeline.
You know, we never got a chance to actually use Crunch in any of the core series games because the series was already going downhill at this point, despite the fact that he joins the Bandicoot family at the end. Now that Crash is back in full stride, I wouldn't mind seeing them make some proper Crunch stages in a new installment, similar to how Coco gets some of her own stages.
It'd be my dream come true!!! If the theories are somewhat correct then we might be seeing the trailer in less then a couple of weeks. Hope to see him on the trailer! :D

In a remake, The Elementals should team up with Cortex's minions. Crunch + Tiny + Rok- Ko Crunch + N. Tropy + Wa- Wa Crunch + Dingodile + Py- Ro Crunch + N. Gin + Lo- Lo (*Since they were used for only ONE Cutscene the entire game.*)
Warth may have flawed but the story,music, and elementals are really good they should retrun in crash bandicoot 5 or a remaster or warth. And also the line delivery is good too.
Probably because the cutscenes weren't animated as well as in the original trilogy (especially 2 and 3). Naughty Dog had stopped making Crash Bandicoot games by this point, and I think that may have had something to do with the drop in quality. Seriously, look at the cutscenes in the Jak & Daxter series, another Naughty Dog series; can you imagine that kind of animation going into Crash Bandicoot? o.o
Really? Also, I was never able to beat the final boss, mainly because we thought it was a waiting game sort of thing and the target would reveal itself. So, I never saw this cutscene.

It still is canon. It's pretty much alternative realites, i mean, it was canon even before IAT. First we have the canon universe, which is Crash 1 to Twinsanity. Now we have a new one which the events are different. (It's About Time) And the Titans saga, which everything is downright different.
Cortex you realize that crash may have collected all the crystals but he doesn't have the gems. With the gems we can resurrect the masks one last time, and destroy that Bandicoot once and for all.
