Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled: INFINITE BOOST EXPLOIT [GUIDE] 

As an additional note: This video just breaks down the basics of it. The guide in the description goes a lot more in depth for those who'd like to know the in depth mechanics, the when and when not to, and what to do with 10 wumpa engines on SF tracks. :)

If you have the engine item with 10 wumpas, you can still spam the accel button if you already have blue fire, so for example, if you get the engine item with 10 wumpa fruits on Oxide Station and you don't have blue fire yet, wait until you hit the super turbo pad for blue fire, then spam the engine item with 10 wumpas, if you have sacred fire or any lower tier boost, the engine item with 10 wumpas does not work and will kill your reserves once it runs out. The engine item that's not juiced up, you can spam it with a few regular boosts or higher.

Also i have went back to the OG CTR to see how it feels and OM MY GOSH! it felt so STIFF!!! Beenox refined this game so well and i cant learn back the OG CTR mechanics like i used to know them.... Additionally... i also went back to compare the time trial differences between the versions, since my research on them turn out to be fruitless. So, i roughly crossed the finish line as the ghosts did... so here are the time difference of only CTR tracks to those who are a bit curious like i was. actually you can do it with the juiced super engine, you need to hit a blue fire pad of equal or higher tier and it will still work with a juiced super engine. this has been in the game for some time now.

This is such an old technique lol. I hope they never patch it. It's the only use of this item. Without this mechanic, this item hinders you more than anything, especially the juiced up version. I use this technique all the time. I get giddy when I get it on a blue fire track lol.

Isn't there like a cheat code of the super engine? I think that would have been easier to do offline.

This time I can actually try this exploit, instead of beenox patching it in 2 seconds(not an attack, its honestly a good thing)

I basically knew about the infinite boost trick ever since the Winter Festival Grand Prix.

Exploit? I thought that's how the item was supposed to be used. Using it without tapping barely makes it do anything.

I’ve actually learned that trick a while ago from a RU-vid named wolfy playz

I thought this was common knowledge on the internet within the first week it was introduced to online. I used to freaking murdered people on Papu's Pyramid thanks to this thing. It was otherwise quite hard to touch that turbo pad without touching the wall and it allows you to take that shortcut through the grass without losing reserves.

This items only appears in online and battle mode right? I never seem it playing normally with my friends at home or against the computer

Please help me I have the Germany version of this game and I didn't have a powerslide boost I tried every day for this I get a little boost but not 1 perfect or 2 perfect boost, even I push not to long with my button L1 or R1

I love the Super Engine because you can get blue fire on non blue fire enabled tracks.

The juiced up super engine empties your reserves when it's used up.

And here was I hoping I could use an exploit to beat Velo... Well, at least I can farm coins a little faster with this.

I really want the Nitro Kart boost gauge to come into CTRNF. :( I know this is more of a remake of CTR than CNK but I've always loved the boost gauge of CNK due to how it's near the center of the screen, making it easier to focus on the gameplay, instead of having to look at the corner of the screen while racing. I doubt they'll add the CNK boost gauge into the game, but I still hope it comes in next update.

First of all the boost isn't infinite so nice clickbait and second of all you are couple months late.

I would still love to have a reserves meter in the gauge cluster. Also, do we know if the reserves are finite or does it just keep stacking forever? This exploit would seem to indicate reserves can be stacked to unlimited levels provided you have the means.

That so damn old, how not every one knows about it ?!

I just saw someone get really pissed and off and patch it immediately when you said exploit.

you know this is months old right? also its "blue fire" is fake. its the same speed as a standard boost pad.

I've been doing this since they added the super engine. You can also do something similar jumping repeatedly on a turbo pad in some tracks, but isn't really useful, search oxide's time trial without powersliding cortex castle. Is interesting to see some of the weird ways the reserve system works.

Super Engine is the only powerup that hinders players as opposed to helping them. No powerup should have a "trick" to it; it should just do its job and help you.

See this is all great and everything for free race and cup races but when it comes to time trial mode and adventure mode we can’t use the super engine which makes the game even harder and dumb :( I wanted see how we can do a turbo boost for a long time without using the super engine but I guess I’m watching wrong video, either way I liked this video because even though I didn’t find what I wanted I still learned something new.

I mentioned this prior in 250crash video and no one could explain the exploit or just didn't want to explain, honestly I hope they patch it as its pretty broken and a great amount of skill goes out the window

One thing I hate about CRT Racing it is not the same as from PS1 era, Half of boosts that you used to get on ocations, specially if you are last one you almost never get them now. For example blue sphare that knocke everyone out in the front of you or time clock. It is bs

This is extremely old news this was discovered in the back n time Grand Prix and it isn’t really that great the speed from the item doesn’t allow you to stack speed with super turbo pads and you lose it if you get a boost from drifting or trick jumps it’s hardly an exploit if anything it put you at a disadvantage sense your stuck at that speed ans cannot powerslide or get trick jump boosts.

BOOOOO!!! Reserve system ruins the game! This is not what a kart racing game is supposed to be! YOU'RE ALL LOST!
