Teddy Atlas and co-host Ken Rideout break down the recent fights in boxing -- mainly Terence Crawford vs Errol Spence -- and UFC 291. They cover Terence Crawford's big win over Errol Spence, along with what's next for Terence Crawford. They hit on Naoya Inoue's big win over Fulton, and how Teddy now sees the pound for pound list. Teddy talks about the Kambosos controversial win, and then hits on UFC 291 with Pereira beating Blachowicz and Gaethje beating Poirier. They then hit on Aspinall's win over Tybura from last week, and the upcoming Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz fight with Teddy giving his prediction.

Crawford can beat Tyson Fury at this point i promise!!! if dont nobody want to say it i will, Terrance is The Greatest Of All Time Period. Name 1 person who he could not whoop in they prime? Only people you can name are Tyson and maybe Ali, but they was heavyweights. I love Roy Jones But he would beat the brakes off of Roy in his prime, go watch as many old fights as yuou can and while your watching you will see the difference, we need a Crawford Movie lol

What's missing here, and would make this analysis 100% better, is film analysis. Instead of stating that Terrence Crawford "ist eine uber boxer" in 60,000 ways, you could illustrate it with snippets of film and accompanying description of just how Crawford managed business with Spence. If film is a problem, then even some carefully chosen still pictures could be enough. Teddy recognized how good Terrence was way ahead of the crowd. Terrence understands that Teddy has, for a long time, given him the "props" that Terrence solicited from sportswriters during his post fight interview. I think Terrence has a fondness for Teddy because of Teddy's early acknowledgement of Terrence's skills. I know this particular video had to be rushed out in order to capitalize on all the post fight energy. But, how about trying to set this up with Terrence and some film and doing it all over again? I think that would be great. I think it would be an attractive opportunity for Terrence by having this masterpiece of a fight memorialized with one of the great teachers of the sweet science. That would be some big "props."

Crawfords masterclass against Spence was the best and most completely boxing performance I’ve ever seen. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. The crazy thing about it, and what makes it a truly special performance, is that Spence would wash any other welterweight on the planet. Except Terrence Crawford. This cemented bud as an all time great in my opinion.

Loved Teddy's Terminator analogy of Crawford being able to take on multiple forms. A switch hitter that is great in both stances. Precise timing on counters. A jab that is sharp and powerful. The keen ability to create distance. The cerebral aptitude to "download data", analyze it and use it against his opponents. Strength, power, agility, mechanics and IQ all wrapped in one.

As great as Inoue's performance was against Fulton, which was masterful, to me he really showed what he is made of in the first Donaire fight, I mean from the second round on he fought with a fractured orbital bone, was able to drop Donaire and take the win, that to me is insane and showed how tough he is.

Crawford's performance was the best I've seen in 35 years as a boxing fan. Not the best fight, but the best performance. The whole occasion was very special. Everything about it. One thing that I've not noticed anyone mention was the exchange at the end of round 7 after the 2 knockdowns where Crawford walked over to Spence after the bell, and they tapped gloves, like Crawford was asking, 'you good?'. Just a very respectful moment between 2 warriors.

There is a line Crawford always uses at pre-fight press conferences (if you get out of line ) …And the moment he feels you are out of line , he ends it. He told Spence, Porter etc. if you get out of line . You hit him with something he does not like or he hears something he does not like during a fight … as Jordan would say ( I took it personally and it was a teaching moment from then on ) . Pay attention to his pre-fight talk and also when he decides to turn it up during a fight .

@@Ididntaskforahandleyoutube Crawford cuts a lot of weight. Like Teddy said; size doesn't matter when strength and power is something you're born with and in character.

Certain athlete’s know how to take information and process it in real time. His defense superb. How he was able to be off kilt from Errol’s punches, and when he counter with a clear line for his punches. That jab followed by the hook.

Great analysis again from Teddy. I must say I respect Kenny Porter, he knew that once Bud hurts his opponent there is no way of recovering for that Boxer. I'm very disappointed at Spence Jnr's corner for not throwing the towel when Crawford was showing the viewers how hard a person can be hit inside the ring. I wish Errol will be alright and move up to 154 for few fights then call it a day

I agree with you totally, Sigonise, but my guess is that Errol will execute the re-match clause. I just hope that he is better prepared, next time around. Crawford obviously had a game plan to take away Errol's jab and body attack. Spence appeared to be relying on the "same old, same old" as his plan, which was no plan at all, imo.

Yes, i saw his eyes. They were no different than when he is just having a conversation with someone. No change. Silent eyes, not just looking but seeing until the end was clear, only then bud’s eyes open as closes in. Thanks for this atlas, i thought i was alone with the eyes, and the water analysis.

Good point, as usual, Teddy. I'd like to add that Crawford's team gave him a great game plan which was absorbed and executed to a tee by Terrance. From the start, Crawford completely neutralized Spence's jab, which is the foundation of Spence's previous wins. Terrence parried each jab and and instantly countered with his own, piston like jabs. He also defended magnificently against Errol's body attack. After dismantling those two weapons, Crawford went to work. Spence didn't know what to do with his best two weapons gone and was like a bee without a stinger. Spence's game plan, in my opinion, was the "same old, same old". He was unprepared to fight a man that has studied his every move and knew how to counter them. I'd give an A+ to Crawford's trainer and a D- to Spence's, especially in light of Spence's trainer letting Terrence take that ugly beating at the end..

Yep, I rewatched the fight from a single camera inside the arena view. When spence comes out, his punches look way heavier than buds even though bud was blocked or taking a small step to make spence miss, so spence looks even strong from this view but Buds punches are sharper, don't look heavy similar to floyds, very sharp..fast

A big fan of the show. I have a question for both if you could answer. I came across BDA boxing podcast and heard a dr say that spence should have never been allowed to fight cause of neurological problems from the car accident. That if the Nevada athletic commission and their doctors was paying attention they should've never cleared spence to fight. Just your thoughts on this.
