i'm actually surprised how he was able to maintain control and take a hold over the hulk when flying the plane. I mean, he was beginning to change, and become the hulk, but he was still in partial transformation, still flying it. Mindblowing scene.

I'm 13 and this show has been my favorite since I was 6, The terrific acting by Bill Bixby really sent the show sky rocketing to success and so did big Louie and Bixby acting is the reason I still love love show. RIP Bill Bixby and Jack Colvin

Because of this show (shout out to my late grandfather), The Incredible Hulk is my favorite Marvel Comics character 💚💜 Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno were a great team for this show

The last transformation is one of the best pictures of how there was a mutual hatred between Banner and his alter ego. They are the same person and yet they cannot help but hate what each other represents. The Hulk is David's dark side made physical, uncontrollable and dangerous. The Hulk, at the same time, views Banner as powerless, useless, and all intelligence. Neither can escape the other, and yet cannot exist without each other. And perhaps there is a deep resentment that the creature can never be what Banner is, and in turn, the Hulk is the level of strength that David sought after yet can never master for himself.

I was young when the Hulk first aired when I was older I got the entire series amazingly I remembered some of these episodes

The scene on the plane...Trying to hold back that Hulk out like when you're stuck in a meeting and the Taco Bell starts talking back to you.

The one where Banner hulks out because he doesn't have a quarter for a phone call isn't in here. That one was hilarious.

This 40 year old depiction of the Hulk is a 1,000 times better than the present CGI / Mark Ruffalo BS.

The last one was a trip. The psychadelic hallucination, along with David's trip triggering the Hulk's trip. A lot going on, there. Another good Hulkout was the second one in "The Psychic." Being shot/grazed, then that fall from the balcony -- OUCH!

I remember the pilot movie when I first saw it in 1977. This was my favorite tv show back 40+ years ago. I still catch the reruns.

This episode was the official start of the series.

After seeing this in the 70s we went to school and started throwing each other around in the playground while saying 'don't make me angry!'

Bill Bixby was really good being Bruce banner turn into the hulk and Lou ferriango was awesome strong mucles as human green monster as hulk

That last scene showed how much the Hulk appeared to hate Banner. Edit: I just noticed in the 747 episode the guy says now and it seems like David’s cue to let go and let the Hulk fully out.

FUN FACT: In the running scenes on New York streets,..Lou Ferigno wore specially made green-painted slippers to protect his feet.

I love how the FAA was telling David to keep it under control 😂. How David was fighting the hulk out to the point his face didn’t fully change allowing him to maintain cognitive control over his actions.

The hulk is like a metaphor for IBS: Flares up under periods of stress, holding back is futile because that crap is coming out whether you want it to or not, causes you to isolate yourself because you never know when or where a flare up might happen, always on a search for a cure going from one possible solution to the next without ever finding true lasting relief. 😆

You left the one out where the he changes in the hospital when that bad doctor gives him an injection he thought it was going to cure him but the doctor was trying to kill him the episode was called life or death. Also the episode where he changes with the motorcycle helmet on and it cracks open.

Well, you got the airplane, but totally forgot the mental hospital escape. That one was brilliant, and the infamous old man with the walker in the elevator. They may be the same show. I don't think they are. Then he was in the nightclub with the women on perches hanging over head and he shoved the bar, pushing everybody and everything to one side of the room and out of his way. And then destroyed the swinging pad with two guys in it and a floosie. I think that may be the Marriette Hartley episode. He got her out of the apartment, but destroyed the upper floor and left the floos hanging from a bed lamp and one of the guys had on a toupee and that was something new for the Hulk. Earthquake was fun, but I don't think it had any magnificent Hulk-outs in it. Laurie Prang's two appearances were memorable, but again, don't think there was a major shock of a Hulk-out. The old man in the elevator, that was priceless because you didn't see it coming, it had nothing to do with the plot and their reactions to each other. Brilliant.
