A scientist who has recently lost his wife, Dr. David Banner, finds himself in the heart of a catastrophic experiment. As a result, anytime Banner becomes overly angry or stressed, he transforms into the Incredible Hulk, a gigantic green monster with superhuman power and wrath. To avoid being found, Banner leads a nomadic life, moving from town to town in quest of a cure and offering assistance where he can, all the while dodging the prying eyes of journalist Jack McGee, who seeks to expose Banner and the Hulk. "Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry." He is the Incredible Hulk.

I love the scenes when David transitions into the Hulk out of sheer frustration. In the phone booth, David's screaming to the operator "I don't have 25 cents" and a minute later, he's changed into the Hulk.

I actually remember the first episode I ever saw of the Incredible Hulk TV series in its original CBS broadcast in 1978. It was Never Give a Trucker An Even Break and the Hulkout in the phone booth was my first Hulkout. :)

Hobo: Did you see that big green feller that was here last night? David: No. I was out for a walk. What happened? Hobo: He came by and I offered him some chicken. David: What kind? Hobo: The Colonels. David: Oh, no! Hobo: What's the matter? David: What are you? Stupid!!!? You didn't see the sign that says don't feed the animals!!!! Hobo: Now wait a minute David! As far as I know he was a big fella and seemed pretty hungry. Sorry to have cut into your fair share! David: You fool! You damned fool! You know what you just did!!! Hobo: No?! You may have loved the Hulk but Lou did not. Four hours EVERY day to put on the makeup which he wore 12-14 hours a day for six years. Yeah, he certainly paid the price
