Jason, thank you for my dream wedding shoot. I was hesitant to get my dress wet at first, but I am SO glad I did! Thanks for the encouragement Joyce!! These pictures will hang in our home because they are timeless works of art. So grateful to have had the opportunity to work with you. I can truly say my wedding day was perfect. Proud to be a Jason Lanier bride!
It's funny how most of them folks who dislike your person hate on you, but at the same time don't have skill, gear, reputation and customers to show you how it's done Jason ;). I found it great that you managed to keep very relaxed atmosphere during the shoot, it was wedding after all, not the damn send off. This vid was the major factor that pushed me into OCF and HSS. Keep doing what you're doing, you are inspiration to some Sir!
A Real Photographer, protects his family, stands by his friends, and loves doing his work well. He is not afraid to speak his mind, has a genuine integrity rather than an ego. Likes to share, plays fair and not afraid of a challenge. He's aware of his limitations and honest about his strengths. Lives life his way despite what people think he is or isn't. Eludes a cool confidence, yet easy to approach, quick to laugh and not afraid to cry. When a man can be confident enough, in the way that he is, then he comes off as, not having anything to prove to anyone. You can just be who you are! Kudos to you Jason, you are who you are! Thank's for sharing your awesome work.
For all you negative wannabe thinkers....Jason is making a great living off what he does. He is experienced and has shot and taught photography all over the world.
Great shoot and it is so good to see a photographer enjoying his craft so much. That is why you stand out from the rest, you are in love with your job!
I just love when Jason takes an awesome shot (most of the time) and reacts in shock! Like he never took a great shot before. Reactions like those truly epic! As always, I don't just love your work but how you're capable of making everyone you work with comfortable and happy!
Joyce Isas Who could even thumbs down this video?! This was a blast and you gave this couple what they deserved, images that will be cherished for generations. Best shoot yet! Love my job!
189 dislikes? Really c'mon here's a guy that loves what he does, has a great support system in his staff, and he's helping many people become great photographers, and these lessons are free, all he asks is that you show some love &appreciation by subscribing, what's the problem.

This is an amazing work, the pictures are great... what I don't understand is why some poor people is going against using a flash (he is JUST using a flash) to get this lovely photos and he has an style... What I think of haters or people that only criticize without doing anything better is that THEY DEFINE THEMSELVES...Thanks Jason for being that crazy, for not careing about haters, for share this and help us to get better phtographers (for the haters: I know this video has several years and is great still today and for many years to come)
Jason you have made a huge fan out of me. I think I love how enthusiastic you are even after all these years... You gain the clients' trust even after the craziest request. I will be purchasing my first Sony soon also to combine its my 5d mark iii
I read comments from people that some of the images from this photographer are "unnatural". Since when does making images look flat a standard in wedding photography. This couple will not only have lovely artistic captures but great memories of the shoot as well thanks to the enthusiasm of the photographer.
+Anne Girard Exactly. Like "natural"is what most modern wedding couples go for in their photos anyhow lol. Jason's style is dynamic and dramatic, and amazing. That's why he gets hired. Nothing wrong with going the "classic" route but this is the 21st century. Like countless things, photography evolves and Jason's style is evocative. And these days "classic" equates to boring in many cases (not all but many).
THANK YOU FOR making tutorial videos for us who don't have as much experience but are willing to learn.my strobe light is on its way in the mail as i text can't wait to take my photos to another level
I gotta tell ya. I'm only 7 minutes into this video and it's my favorite yet! Looks absolutely fun, crazy and beautiful all at the same time. Who couldn't be excited about photography watching this?
Mate, your enthusiasm and love for photography is just fantastic. I've bought an A6000 as a result of your reviews and I'm loving every minute with it. Thank you.
I never really comment on your videos. This was a very great and inspiring video that could be applied to other types of shoots as well. It seems that few people are willing to risk the equipment to get the shot. Keep up the great work. Thank you for your time.
Dude... Your energy is infectious. Great job! I came to this video because i'm investigating the Flashpoint RL600b. Looking for an excuse not to buy the Profoto B1's... But the interactive qualities of what you deliver is great! You're my new photog hero!
Thank you for this amazing video! I learned so much from watching you and your crew work this scene. From the set up to the human skill you displayed dealing with the Bride and Groom to the amazing shots, it was just fantastic!!!
I wish I could go to a shoot with him, he is who I would like to be as a photographer. I'm just getting my start but as soon as I saw Jason's shoots on RU-vid I've been a fan
Jason, thanks for posting this. You are simply amazing! Your enthusiasm clearly rubs off on your crew AND on your clients. You were right, those shots are EPIC!! All the best to you from Bethesda, MD. Robert
Jason you da man! And your team's awesome. Love watching your shoots. And thank for helping realize how my Sony a6000 is capable of great shots. I bought the a6000 before I watched your vids and thought it was an ok camera being that it was so cheap. I knew nothing about cameras and basically bought the camera because it was small, cheap, manual shooting and had wifi lol. After learning the basics in a month I noticed that my shots were as good as my friends shots but they have $1,500 canons and they been shooting longer then I have lol....they couldn't believe it. I love every moment when they scratch their heads in disbelief lol. Then I saw a video on RU-vid of you doing photo shoots with the a6000, that's when it blew my mind away. It totally made me realize I have an friggin awesome camera in my hands. And made me try even harder to get great shots knowing that this little cheapo camera can do amazing shots. Now I'm saving up to get me the a7r or a7s....still can't decide. Anyways, totally love your vids and absolutely love your photos. Thank you for sharing your photo shoots Jason Lanier and team! Aloha and mahalo nui loa
Save the gear!! Love this session! Love the bride willing to do what it takes for the amazing shot! Excellent inspiration dude! You killed it...Oh! And that SKY! LOVE
