This is the first time I’ve made a carnivore pastas noodle that I’m happy with using to replace boxed pasta like macaroni, and I think you’re going to love it as much as we so! Chris, I can't thank you enough for developing this carnivore "pasta". I used these cooked sheets for my lasagna recipe. I am 100% Italian American and used to make my family's killer traditional lasagna with homemade fresh pasta sheets and Italian sausage red sauce. Today I made my family's lasagna recipe but substituted these carnivore "pasta" sheets for regular pasta sheets. It was a bit soft right out of the oven but as it cooled it firmed up so I could cut out beautiful squares of lasagna where you could see each distinct layer. It was amazing. I'm just so glad there is enough for leftovers!!!

Your creativity always amazes me. I am not Keto or Carnivore, I am a type 1 diabetic that eats low carb because I have to, so I am always on the lookout for low carb/zero carb recipes. You always knock everything out of the park!! I truly appreciate your videos! I have hardly ever eaten mac and cheese in my entire life since I was diagnosed as an infant; pasta has always been off limits. So I am definitely going to try this!!! I am so excited. LOL I loved that you called your dog your "Sous chef" how cute!! I had a beloved dog that looked almost identical to Mel, so seeing her makes me smile!! It is an added bonus to your amazing videos! Hey Chris, just writing this to say I JUST tried this recipe to a T, and my 9 & 10 year old picky girls devoured it and said it was every bit as good as the blue box. They saw the "home-made" noodles and thought it was cool I got to make my own noodles. Little did they know it was shrimp! Also the wife raved about it too, keto household here and this paired perfectly with a grilled Bratwurst tonight. A + my man!

OMGoodness. This is similar to Asian fish cakes. I often blend eggs, shrimp, squid, and white fish to make a fish paste to make my own version of keto fish cakes. I NEVER thought about pouring cheese sauce over it. FANTASTIC idea. Thank you again for seeing things differently. Bravo!!

2KrazyKetos made a Mac & Cheese with shrimp, but they just used the shrimp as a replacement for the pasta. They didn’t use it to make the dough. My mother used to make a Corned Beef Casserole with elbow macaroni. Maybe this could work for that, too!

My sister plays a Martin. So when we sing in public she plays her beautiful 30 year old Martin and I save my guitar for just our private jam sessions. I wish I could afford to buy one. They have such beautiful tone and they are a work of art.❤❤❤

I made this today and it did not disappoint! I’ve been hungry for Mac and cheese. Ash’s reaction sold me on trying this recipe. It was easy and you really don’t taste the shrimp. You smell it when you’re baking the noodles but that’s it. The texture is fantastic! I’m thinking a lobster Mac n cheese is now gonna happen! Thank you for another great recipe! You’re a genius!

WOW, Chris! This was fantastic! I experimented a little with my second batch of mac. I actually blended the shrimp raw since they will be cooked twice-once in the oven as noodles, and again in the frying pan, or in my case, in Southern Style Baked Mac & Cheese! Hallelujah, baked mac is back! And since shrimp take almost no time to cook (2-3 minutes before turning to rubber) I didn’t have any concern about using them raw. I found that the protein in the shrimp did a much better job helping to achieve that pasta texture when blended raw. For those without silicon baking sheets, simply sandwich the pasta batter between two pieces of parchment and bake it on a cookie sheet. (I flip mine upside down; its easier to get the product on and off) I also use a pizza peel to put it in a take it out. Southern Style Mac & Cheese 4 cups carnivore noodles (which Chris’ recipe yields exactly) 3 TBS butter ½ to 1 tsp salt 1 lb. shredded cheddar cheese 1 ¼ cups heavy whipping cream 1 ¼ cups half & half 3 eggs, beaten 1. Preheat the oven to 350° F. 2. In a large skillet sauté 4 cups cups of noodles in 3 TBS of butter and 1 tsp salt, and set aside 3. Mix 1 ¼ cups heavy whipping cream, 1 ¼ cups of half & half, and 3 beaten eggs in a bowl. 4. In a 13x9 casserole dish, alternate layering cheese and noodles. 5. Pour cream and egg mixture over the cheese and noodles. 6. Cover with foil and bake covered with foil for 45 minutes. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes to brown the top.

You have just saved Catholic carnivores with an aversion to seafood, meaning my sister. I have no problem with most seafood, but my sister will only tolerate so much shrimp (the only seafood she’ll eat). I think she’ll eat this, and so does she.

Just made this one! It was fun and easy to make. We liked it. I used cheap cheese from a bag. It could have been better with a better cheese. The texture was pretty good, and we could not taste the shrimp. I used parchment paper to bake it and that also worked. I think this would also be good as a lasagne noodle. Thanks! I tried this recipe last night with a smoky chipotle cheese blend in the sauce. I swear this was restaurant-quality good (and not because of my cooking skills). So I finally made this and it was good fresh. BUT when I ate it the next day and warmed it in the microwave it was even better. Must add bacon and jalepenos. Even as a carnivore I can qualify a little sneak of jalepeno. Once again Chris this is why I come to your channel over and over.

Mine was shrimp-tasting, even though I rinsed them 4x before blending. I’ll try again, rinsing more, because the texture is great.

This likely is either something to do with the specific shrimp you used and/or them needing to be fried a bit more to cook more of the shrimp flavor out.

You are AMAZING!!! The family had this for lunch. The kids were so shocked to hear that we were having Mac n Cheese. It was an unbelievable hit! Ash was right in her assessment. I tried this tonight. I probably made them too thin, but they were pretty good with some NSA Spaghetti Sauce and Ground Beef. So filling! But wait.... I tweaked the second batch. I added some Ketochow Baked Potato powder. Baked them like before but cut them into steak fries. Put a few in the airfryer to crisp them up. OMG the texture was awesome. I just need to figure out when to salt them so it sticks. I dipped them in a tiny bit of NSA ketchup. This will work for me moving forward. But now, I am wondering about thinning this out to try to make some chips. Chris you are a genius.

@@ChrisCookingNashville Tonight I cut the leftovers into fast food size. I sprayed them with avocado oil and then salted them well. They came out nice and crispy to go with my burger. My mind is spinning with some ideas.

I’m going to try it for my son who loves noodles but should not eat them. Mac and cheese is his favorite, 30 years old on the severe end of the autism spectrum. If he loves these “ cheese noodles “ I’ll love you forever ! ❤❤

Wow! That sounds so good. I have a shellfish allergy but I am so glad I watched to the end. Thank you for the substitution suggestions. I always add a little mustard to any cheesy dish. It magnifies the cheesy taste.

First. Two thumbs WAY up from me!👍👍 (I probably doubled the cheese to get it saucy, and in the future will likely make the sauce separately to add to the butter fried noodles) However Hubs (and teen daughter) feel that while this was fine, but conceptually it was a "waste of perfectly good shrimp" that could be used in the 2 Krazy Ketos shrimp mock n cheese which they both love (and sadly makes me gag). But since I am the Carnivore and they are the support, they can suck it! OOookkayyy. I love them. And they ARE support for me. So I guess we can occasionally make the 2KK version too...

I make mac and cheese with ground chicken and egg blended together- then cooked in small pieces in tallow or lard. Then the cheese sauce. Mmmmmm ❤

You can always use another kind of fish like cod or tilapia, or you could give it a try with some chicken meat. Not sure how chicken will come out compared to this, but you can give it a shot.

I had to add another post reply. I am the only keto person in family but they eat my meals when I cook keto. My sons 29th birthday was other day and his favorite meal is beef stroganoff. My daughter made the dish keto style and While everyone else had regular egg noodles, I made your noodle recipe for my portion and was fantastic delicious. Really very easy to make. Thanks again.

Can’t wait to make! Love your recipes! I make a cheese sauce with sour cream, cheddar cheese, and cottage cheese (equal portions) and chopped bunch 16:06 scallions and salt put through food processor to mix well. Put on hot pasta.Just worry about carbs on carnivore.,but is very delicious. Let me know! Will definitely try your pasta and sauce. God bless both of you!

I made the pasta today. Does not taste fishy. It came out a little dry. My mistake was letting it dry for1-2 hours while I ran out to grocery shop! I slice it up like linquini. Tried the cut up trimmings with my cottage cheese scallion sauce. Did find it a little dry and will cut into smaller pieces later. I will definitely make it again and sure it was me. Maybe baking little less time( could be my oven). Wondering if I should roll it soon after coming from oven while still softer, even though it wasn’t difficult. I used an extra long paint mixing stick I got at Home Depot. New and unused and made a great cutting guide😂😂😂. Will save it just for this type cutting 😂

I've seen a version of Ketovore MAC&CHEESE with the tiny shrimp in cheese sauce simulating the curved noodles. I haven't tried it anyway. But I might try your noodles with the added tiny shrimp for myself, with bacon and plenty of cheese! You're a dream come true for trying to feed my Husband who has no clue of keto or carnivore cooking yet...I can pray! 🙏 🏆

Fantastic!!! I was speculating in my head how you were going to use that secret ingredient and I was right. I've seen (but forgot about) other people use shrimp paste as a protein binder in some fancy dish a long time ago and once you mentioned what the secret ingredient was, I remembered about that from long ago. I'm going to double your recipe for sure!! I know you were trying to replicate box Mac n' Cheese but I'm going to combine all the ingredients in a baking pan and toss it in the smoker for a little while then top it with (Currently smoking it now) home cured bacon, a ton of Parmigiano-Reggiano and ground up chicharron (recently found a local source for pork skin!!!) that I'm making today (fried in beef tallow) and putting under a broiler to give it a golden crispy top crust. **Edit** for the main cheese sauce I picked up a 5 year old cheddar to give it a really punchy in your face cheese flavor.

Chris- You're AMAZING! Maybe some day I'll be able to try this. Unfortunately we made a similar-ish recipe from another RU-vidr and we really didn't like it. It was 2 Krazy Ketos. The shrimp in theirs was recognizable as shrimp and had the shrimp "chew" consistency; also, our shrimp did not get washed or rinsed enough.@@ChrisCookingNashville

Ah yes. I’ve had some people mention that recipe now that I posted mine. I went to see what they were talking about. I’m sure I’d enjoy the recipe but I think it’s cheesy shrimp rather than a pasta dish. I’m sure it tastes like shrimp. The benefit of mine is I truly don’t think anyone would know it had shrimp in it as it just tastes like boxed pasta to me. That’s my two cents anyway. And Ash agreed with me when she had it both times too.
