Today I'm showing you exactly how chain link fencing is made using a wire weaving machine. These automatic chain link fence machines, Bergandi WVR-500, are incredible and made the whole process incredibly fast and easy. Thanks to Brenton Manufacturing for letting me tour their facility and film this process!

I've worked in the fencing and gaurdrail industry for a while now and this is the first time I've seen the mesh being made. It's pretty cool since I'm use to putting it up or dismantling it so seeing it being created is fascinating.

Interesting! It’s funny how little things can change by region, in our machine’s operator’s manual it refers to them as knuckles and twists.

I tried getting a quote from them but didn’t get an answer but I’d say around 70k probably something crazy like that haha…that’s why my manufacturing facility still has old clutch driver machines from the 70s

This is the _second_ video I have watched in 10 minutes where the title is wrong. This video does NOT show "How Chain Link Fence is Made". It shows how the parts are made and the finished fencing. But it does _not_ show how the parts are assembled together to make a fence.

They're easy enough to make or anything that twists and use a hook one end to pull them out
@moparmat_1933
@moparmat_1933 Год назад
I'm curious! So then, is one "needle"/half diamond counted as one picket? Or, is it that one full diamond/two needles is one picket? Also, I'm curious about how the machine is calibrated for different heights of mesh. Say 60" as opposed to 72". Is it the diamond count? Does rpm or wire feed speed play into this? Knuckle-knuckle vs. Knuckle-barb and so on. I think I've got it figured out but I need confirmation 😂. Thanks!
@JoeEverest
@JoeEverest Год назад
Yes, the diamond count is adjusted to make the height. RPM and therefore the wire feed speed don’t play into the height adjustments.

@chainlinkoperator

@@JoeEverest both the WVR 500 and 600,Wafios are run by Hydraulics it's far easier and quicker to do height and salvage changes,everything is just easier and more efficient making for a higher production rate
