Next time she might want to check out the self-help section (p.s. if you like this vid here's another one shot by the same guy: • Come At Me Bro ) spotted by Jon Bremner, shot by Richard Keel
This chick deserves an oscar I just recently watched misery for the first time. I can't believe nobody in that store realized what she was doing. And when she walked away with a Steven king novel I lost it lol
@@billybiker5712 it sucks that the comments have no idea who she is even portraying. Tbh I recently watched misery has to be my second favorite movie from Stephen king wonderful movie yet scary. I saw this video back in the day and had no idea wtf was going on. People need to watch the movie to understand like me lol
I think that she was very "spoiled"as a child ?she really needs to practice self control especially when going out in public interacting with other people
Currently reading Misery and she has Annie Wilkes down perfect. The way she just stops and shuts down for a moment is literally what king describes in the book
@@pablosebasthian is this a serious psychiatric forum, dipshit? No, its just an informal comment section, hence, not only I can say whatever the fuck I want, but it's a given that a lot of retards would take every comment word by word, not appreciating an irony or a joke.
I understand that reference ;) The woman in this video is playing a character from Stephen King's Misery, in which the actress from the movie adaptation also plays a character in The Office.
It is so amazing because it is all faked, paul Sheldon is the main character in the book misery were his "biggest fan" kidnaps him when he gets in a car crash. She is pretending to be that fan.
Gitai Vinshtok it is i did some looking up she was practicing for a role at generic theaten in june 28th 2011 generic theater was hosting the play for Misery and this lady and another both auditioned for the part of annie wilks so i think she wastrying to scare the S*** of people and practice her role
***** That is very interesting. But I am quite sure that this lady suffers from some mental health issues. I don't think she was bs'ing or trying to be clever. I think she was confused and had a meltdown.
She could be misery in a remake to the movie just need someone to replace james cann misery by Stephen king the book is great the movie is just as good
@@victorthatfriend it's a thing off of the movie misery, about a woman who captures paul sheldon (a fictional character) her favorite author, and then a lot of creepy and horrible stuff happens beacuse she is insane.
Just noticed something, so I did some googling. Paul Sheldon is a Fictional character created by Steven King, who made the book Misery. Paul within the book is a writer, with 8 books. I honestly wonder if this is the chick that breaks Paul Sheldons legs in the book.
Without context, you feel bad for the woman. But once you learn the background of the joke, you feel bad that there are so many people in the bookstore that don't understand.
Well it does seem a little fishy she's dressed like that, acting like that and asking for the "Misery series by Paul Sheldon" the character in the actual book "Misery".
I once had a boss like this at a feed store, she looked very similar to. She would often berate people for not "doing the job correctly" and blamed me for getting injured on the job, and would often raise her voice and act all entitled when a customer asked a simple question...was a horrible boss. Signed with the national guard now and honestly I like it here 😂
if you don't know what this is from, read Misery from Stephen King. This lady is portraying a character named Annie who kidnapped Paul Sheldon in her home because she LOVED his Misery books.
Well, in the books, Annie always went to the general store to buy the Misery books. This youtube channel is for improv and acting, so a place like Barnes and Noble or Books A Million would be a good place to go perform, especially since that's where the character would have gone. It's like a flash mob, but with improv. :)
I don't know exactly, but I would say that it is okay. I'm not a rep for Generic Theater, but they do have many sponsers and work with other theaters and actors in virginia. It is entertainment. But even if this was real, it would still be legal--just as long as she did not steal or harm anything.
i have a feeling the barnes and noble establishment set this up for some occasion (25th anniversary, halloween, stephen king's new book, etc.). if so, i like this form of advertising. the lady playing her is a great actor...
To people being duped she's acting out a character in Misery. The antagonist to Paul Sheldon. Shelfon is the writer in the book that is written by Steven King.
She should get to play Annie in a Broadway version of Misery.oh, better...I want a Broadway presentation of ALL of Stephen King's works. It would only take a month to see it.
@GreenStreet 813 wow you're angry as f**k and calling me a douchebag!? Lol this was funny I'm glad I saw it but you gotta chill I'm not the one who cheated on you. Redirect your anger.
for those of you who don’t get the reference: misery is a novel by Stephen king that consists of a woman named Annie who is obsessed with an author named Paul Sheldon, his novels revolve around a character named misery
I don't know which is funnier, her brilliant impression or the people in the store who don't grasp that this is clearly a joke. I was smiling all of the way through, but finally lost it completely when she shouted "I AM LOOKING FOR A COCKADOODIE BOOOOOK!" Kathy Bates would be damn proud. 😂🤣👏🏻👍🏻 In another video, the video ended RIGHT after her freak out. Now this, and there's the lady freaking out just like in the other video. And then comes the end, and just after when the video is supposed to end... She finds a different book? And everyone in the store laughs. But I'm not laughing, "THIS ISN'T WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME! HAVE YOU ALL GOT AMNESIA?! THEY JUST GAVE US MORE VIDEO! SHE NEVER GOT THE OTHER COCKADOODIE BOOK!"
@@hehhehhuhhuh7014 She's good I agree but not as good as Lizzy Caplan from the Castle Rock Hulu series. I actually felt like I was watching a younger version of Kathy Bates she's that convincing.
That is the point actually. She is impersonating Annie from the book, Who is a fan of the writer, Paul, in the book. She is playing a role here. And a really good one !
+24kGoldenRocket Yeah he is it's a really well done skit, she acts like and is dressed like the main character from the books she is asking after. If you don't get the joke, just trust me.
Aidan Scott I got it immediately. When she said "Misery books" my initial thought was Stephen King. I just do not think that the clerk was in on it. Since I have read the book I would have corrected her as tot he author's name. But the clerks are not as literate as they are youth, Young people do not read anywhere near as many books these days as my generation. The youth are too much into video games and Facebook...
+Alexander Wang Gang Someone said this was a promo for a play (look up the name of the channel) based on Stephen King's "Misery" (hence the Annie Wilkes re-enactment). Don't know if the customers were in on it (although it would be hard for them to miss the camera filming her...), but the store clerk clearly was.
Damn she must really love Paul Sheldon. Imagine what she would do if she actually got to meet him. She'd probably kidnap him and hold him hostage or something.
This is what it feels like to wake up in a parallel universe and you try to run errands to buy a skelpter to make some cromelè for dinner, but nobody knows what that is, so you go to a blockbuster to pick up your favourite motion picture disc, but people call them DVDs, and they don't even have your favourite show, so you spend 20 years learning about that universes culture, and realise you can't get home and that the people you love don't know where you are, and you never got a chance to say goodbye.
I think it’s an act, maybe a reference to a one of Stephen Kings books (he is the real author of « misery » which she is yelling about in the video, Paul Sheldon is just a character in the book) because in another book, he writes about a fan that has gone completely obsessed with his favourite author and kidnaps him and does other crazy stuff
@@wolfgurl1115 No this is acting. She is acting out a character from a movie called Misery. Here, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hQGkRhyFW5A.html
Definitely a parody. “Cocka-doody” gives it away for sure, supported by the fact that she’s asking for a book by a fictional author who is the main protagonist of the eponymous real book by Stephen king. I think the clerk might’ve been in on it too.
TheTacogamer500 this was definitely some kind of joke. She was supposed to be the lady from misery by Stephen king. I'm just wondering how many people in that store were in on the joke!
