CRAZY FAST eastbound CP & SOO train in Finch

Sunday. It was a very cold day. -39, I was video taping trains in the middle of a snow storm. CPAC4400CW, SOO Line SD60. Sorry about those pathetic noises!!! It was so cold that when it was snowing hard, When I heard the train coming, I had to take off my mites to REC, because they were socked and it would wreck my camera. I waited about 45 mins for this train. (COLD)!!!

My Grand dad worked on the SOO Line for probably 25 years. Nice to see that some Locos are still painted in the red and white.

WOW that's fast! And great find with the SOO! The only place I know in canada where you can see SOO engines basically EVERYWHERE is Medicine hat, so that's pretty good to see.

I've never seen a freight train go so fast threw signal crossings. Also, you sound 13,(?) that's train video dedication right there! I'm 14 and would not go out to a railroad crossing at -40! for a video! :D Job well done!

I've waited in cold weather for a train that may or may not come before, but never anything like the cold you experienced! You were a very hardy soul for sticking it out until you saw what you suffered through the bitter cold for. That train was sure heating up those rails!!!
