if you want to make the mini e revo extra crazy, get the motor mount from a brushed mini e revo. the brushed mini e revo uses the normal 12 turn motor thats in the 1/10 scale traxxas cars. that means you can put in the traxxas 3500 brushless motor, or any 1/10 scale brushless system, youll be doing standing backflips for days!

Can you please do some real crawler videos? Like take out your modified trx4 out on a real mission on your local trails or other fun spots? I am here for the crawler videos and am always disappointed when they aren’t crawler videos.

Shim the front and rear diffs, center diff helps. Front A arms need to be rpm A Arms. If you’re bashing the steel drive shafts work great. Best truck tires are the big joe 2’s from proline.

Def. a fun car!!! Crazy fast on 2 3s lipo ran in parallel. It did turn into a money pit though for such a small rc. T-Bone Chassis, rpm a-arms, large motor heat sink, stiffer springs, thicker oil (like 80wt to keep bottoming out), and shim the diffs. I haven't broken any driveshafts or diffs IDK if its luck or my driving style of easing onto the gas.

Super excited for the monster truck build

I've been wanting one of these since it came out, but so many people on more than 1 forum keep telling me not to do it because they say it's a money pit. Don't get me wrong , these same people say it's amazing when it actually runs, but that it's constantly needing repairs. They also say they do t abuse it either, but that it pretty much will break if you look at it wrong. It's a shame, because I'd really like one but I'm pretty new at this and frankly I don't have the skill and time it apparently takes to keep the tires on the ground.

Got one of these for my son as his first real hobby grade RC. Have had it for a month and already got new front and rear control arms, front bulk head, center diff, new wheels/tires for more ground clearance, wheelie bar, several batteries, new gearing (to go with the bigger tires), new heavier springs, shock oil....for the price of all this crap I could have gotten him a MAXX or kraton 6s

The size of it really helps. Just makes it so light and strong!

I've had this exact car for a couple years and I absolutely love it.

I was one of the ones that told you to get it. My motor just went out on mine so be careful of overheating or shrink wrap melting off and shorting out the motor. Have fun!

I have this little mini-revo. Not really into rc but wanted something I could keep in my trunk. All I did is put 2 of the regular batteries in series, a wheelie bar, and a heat sink and it's plenty fun. Car charger works great for how I use it. I think I might add a bit stiffer springs and a center diff. It does seem to bottom out quite a bit stock.

The mini e-revo converts to a mini summit aswell with jist a few parts to swap & obviously the bodyshell , i did that , loved it then sold it & regretted it even as i packaged it up to send on .

If you want to go mad you can get a motor mount for a 540 sized motor and squeeze 2 3s lipos in the battery bays and run 6s if you fit a bigger esc.( you will need to fit a different shell though, beetle or pickup I think fit (I have the vw beetle shell 🙂) ) Deffo upgrade the drive shafts as well as the A arms front and rear with RPM arms and also RPM hubs , it takes all the play out of the steering making high speed runs easier to control. If you want to stop the chassis breaking go for a T bone under tray and bumper set (unbreakable guarantee), a center diff will help calm down the wheelies and help with cornering too, also helps to save the front and rear diff from wearing out so quickly with the extra power.
