This drone isn't new, but it sure is fun! I wasn't planning to release this footage when I recorded it, but it was one crazy ride! Hope you enjoy it! I've show this build in more detail before. Links & info below:

1505 BetaFpv on 4” is so underrated. I have this same setup and it’s almost as maneuverable as a 3” and quicker than a 5”.

So dang innovative. This stuff is fun man. Drone manufacturers everywhere are kicking themselves because they can’t seem to get this done correctly and a few of y’all got it on lock in short order. Great job!!!

Unfortunately, "ultra light" and "digital" are kind of at odds with each other, but it's cool to see how light we can push them anyway. I have flown an 85mm whoop with naked Vista (see videos on my channel), but I'm sure it could still get a lot lighter.

Have you seen the new (I don't actually know if it is new) 1s capable FC or are maybe looking at it soon. It seems to be able to do 15a and doesn't have a built in vtx or Rx. I don't know if it has any fatal flaws and I was wondering if you had done a review or are doing one soon. The name of it is Darwinfpv 15a f411 I did see it on pyrodrone but I wouldn't be able to get it from there and it is about 30usd so it is quite cheap for what it is offering

I have a 4inch gecko with 2203 3000kv motors and gemfan 4052. 850mah 4s 95c. Super fun.....

Exact same build as mine except I run gemfire 4023 bi-blade and a GNB 750Mah 4S. Fun isn't it? I think the 1505 motors have an easier time controlling bi-blades.

Got the same build just different Aio board the Betafpv 1505/3600 is efficient but feel a little under powered on the four inch build. My Diatone 1408/4000kv motors feel a little more powerful but heavier weight on the build. What firmware you running? Betaflight or Emuflight flight? Emuflight worked out better for me because I'm not to tune savvy! But I love to build!.Great flight🤗

1408 is a really tall motor. I’d rather go with a wider motor because they seem to help on the low end of the rpm range which is the only range where I feel any deficiency with the 1505s. Not sure what’s optimal though.

@@MrShutterBug I tried swapping out to 1805/2550 Betafpv motors (Bearing are rough sounding on my new pair of 1805) but I couldn't get the tune dialed in on Betaflight...I might try again on Emuflight now that I been running it on other builds

256g with the battery I used. It wouldn't be too hard to get under 250g if that was a priority. For one thing this tall TPU canopy is pretty heavy.

1506 might fly better, but the BetaFPV 1506 has an M5 shaft that won’t work with all the super light T-mount props. This drone weighs a little over 250g with battery. Sub-250 is certainly possible. This canopy is super strong but heavy. A lighter canopy + Nebula Pro (not original DJI cam) could put it under 250g as long as the battery isn’t too big.

I have this frame! Keep meaning to build it. Was thinking XNova 1804s, how do you think those would work?

I think 1804 would work great. It would have more authority than the 1505 motors I’m using, but I assume they would also be heavier.

@@MrShutterBug On the same 4 inch build ..I swapped out the Betafpv 1505 out for the 1805/2550 Betafpv motors and it was a tunning nightmare and finally I gave up and went back with the 1505...I'm thinking about trying again because at the time I first tried it.. I didnt know about Emuflight. Something about the set of Betafpv 1805/2550 motors I got the barings in them are rough. But from the few times I flew the 1805 on the four inch RacerX frame it was beastly..just couldn't get the tune dialed in. And they aren't much tunning videos on these specific RacerX light builds with Aio boards!

I am using pyro 1804.5 on 6s on a regular and stretched mutant. No tuning issues.

So my 3" with naked vista just broke, need to transfer the parts. Wondering what the loudness difference would be between 4" biblades and 3" biblades on 3s? My 3" was just quiet enough for me to feel comfortable flying it around my neighborhood

@@jermadjesty larger props tend to be quieter when all else is equal because they can deliver the same thrust al lower RPMs. That doesn’t always mean bigger is better, however. It’s totally up to you.

Mr. Shutterbug you and I live in the same state I think, Washington? I began fpv flying last July and I am getting more comfortable with betaflight but I am having a very hard time working with CLI. I have a beta95x digital and I forgot to save the original cli, I am 61 years old, whoops! I followed Joshua Bardwells videos trying to learn and setup rpm filtering. I flashed the betaflight 4.2 and then he said I needed to load back in parts of my original cli. Which I dont have and I wouldnt know what to load or how yet following the video I didnt know until it was to late. I am just really new at this. The quad will arm but instantly loses control and shuts down. I am willing to pay for help and I need someone who can really get me trained on working in the CLI. I must admit I bought a mavic air 2 and was bored quickly. Then I accidentally saw a youtube video on fpv flying and I am way more than hooked! I just have a lot to learn and I need some help on betaflight. May I ask for your help or someone who can help me. Please reply at mrastudio3@gmail.com Beyond Thank You Marc

Hey marc, what version of beta95x do you have? Betafpv will have the original cli dump and the original version target, so you can get back to all original stock settings

Thanks Guys I got with BetaFPV and they set me up with the correct CLI. The 95x digital is now up and flying. Sometimes even at 61yrs old learning by the old school of hard knocks is what it takes. After this experience I saved every Quads CLI I have. Again Thanks Marc
