Thank you so much for this great idea! I basically made an exact copy, but added a crossfire receiver and changed the battery lead to BT2.0 (to use some existing batteries) and ended up at 23g even. I used the HQ props 40mmX2GR. With a 550mAh (betafpv lava, stop at 3.5V) I get a little over 4min of fun ripping 😊 it flys fantastic with no additional changes (except rates).
@MrShutterBug i hope you are doing well.we havent seen any videos from you lately and i had to make sure i was still subscribed.looking forward to your comeback whoop videos lol
Holy smokes. I never realized the size of the gates until the part where you guys fixed the broken PVC. They are way larger than I envisioned they'd be.
I am looking for upgrading my gear, for now I only fly 1s tinys so for me winning the flywoo hex would be awsome! for second choice I pick the cinewhoop and last choice the betafpv pack, for my father to make him start on this :)
Hi, as someone who would want to get into this type of flying, would HDzero system be the best way to enter the space, or is Walksnail a good option. Thanks.
Been watching a bunch of your videos lately and they have me inspired to start building some ultra lights...... 4 frames on their way😅. They look like such a blast to fly! I have only ever built and flown >750g 5" quads or larger.
19:42 if you use enameled wire for these purposes - you can run a sharpie down the length of it to give it a hint of colour and aid with identification later on :D
Awesome video! One tip With the lighter: if you put it above or to the side of your workpiece, you can use the blue portion of the flame for a more controlled heat application. I learned this one when cleaning up cut edges of synthetic (plastic) textiles & ropes.
I love my crux 3, totally recommend it, though you definitely need to ziptie and heat shrink the antenna. I have crashed it countless times with the only other issue being the camera breaking after failsafeing it and smashing it into the ground. Quick fix though. I haven't had an other problems and it is an awesome backyard ripper! Good review!
So i attempted to convert mine and somehow my pitch axis was backward got that figured out not sure if what I did was right? And did your cli commands everything works arms but when throttle is applied it flips to the side kinda lost at this point any thoughts would be appreciated
Hi. I would start it by connecting it to the Betaflight configurator (or whichever configurator you are using). The first screen should show a 3D model of your drone. The model should move as you move the drone in real life. Make sure that it turns the right way, matching your movements. If not, then the board alignment needs to be changed. If that looks OK, then I would go to the motors tab and try spinning one motor at a time. This requires a battery, and you should take the props off (or be very careful). Make sure that the correct motor spins, and that it is spinning in the right direction. Two motors will spin clockwise, the others counter clockwise. Finally, double check that each prop is on the right motor. Some props are for clockwise rotation, and others are for counterclockwise. If you do all of that, then I think it should fly. Good luck. :-)
@@MrShutterBug yeah I had to change all the axis on the f.c. till everything appeared correct motors roll etc… , but I had another nano hawk I started messing with and I didn’t have the same out comes which I thought was odd sense I did all the same things (your commands etc) and one worked and the other didn’t, I did notice one had direct soldered motors and the other had connectors could mean something or nothing but thanks for the reply and the content!
Dear friend, hello, the video was a good explanation, but I have a problem with the image of this camera in my HD zero glasses and I did a lot of research, but I did not succeed. Please leave a video about updating VTX and its steps for us newbies, thank you.
arent those launch pads upside down? just asking cause I was going to print my own as my mobula7 struggles to not yaw into a spin when using launch-control
