CRAZY GUY TRIES TO FIGHT ME and TWO FISH ON ONE TOPWATER Mullet Run Fishing St Augustine, Florida 

Imagine telling someone that you're about to kick their ass and then going over to touch their line and play buddy buddy once they catch a fish???

About a year ago I had a similar experience. I was new to fishing and bought a cheap ugly stick combo. I was at a local lake and the regulars were giving me a hard time and making fun of my setup. making me move from spots and what not. since it was going to be the nearest lake near me didn’t want to start any problems. I ended up being pushed to a area with weeds and logs but hey I was there mostly for the calming sport. Ended up landing a 5 pounder bass for my first catch. Had them staring. I could see and feel the hate hahaha

It's always amazing to see people handle situations so well, I have diagnosed anger issues and I've hurt people badly in these situations before but I've been doing better with a therapist and stuff. Proud of ya man!

Carma, really couldn’t have turned out any better. Man gets in your face and chases you off, then you instantly double hook up and people crowd you to congratulate. Then you donate fish to someone for diner. You may have actually taught him some manners without even knowing it, I’m sure he thought about that moment all day until he laid his head on his pillow. When I was 8 yr old Dad dropped me off fishing and I started catching a few , the local old boys got angry and gave me a hard time running me off with the threat of a beating.. . When dad came back about an hour later and heard what had happened he marched me over to the fishermen and said which ones. For the next 10 mins i watched dad beat the shit out of 3 guys . On the way home i was sworn to secrecy with mum and learned that my dad travelled around Australia tent fighting for 8 years before he married .. Well done dealing with that idiotic fool and beautiful fish .

God rewarded your patience and taught that man a lesson in humility all at the same time.

Years ago, I was in a similar situation. I gave plenty of room to the folks who were surf fishing. I casted out and got something BIG. I walked down the beach several hundred feet and EVERYONE was looking at me, but whatever was on the line swam away. It was a big fish.
