how about when you're pushing out your last rep in bench press (the one that brings the gains) and some dude runs up and rips it out of your hands because he figured you were struggling and needed help as it was going up slow so was too heavy for you.
He had the barbell position down his back. His hands were also too close to his body requiring his wrists to be so far extended. Because of where the barbell is it applied too much force down the forearm. I would've guessed it would've snapped his wrist but it looks like he has wrist straps on.
bless you for not censoring this, i thought ive seen compilations of gym fails... this flawlessly takes the cake. how the fuck do you dislocate your knee raising dumbells while laying down? I laughed so goddamn hard.
The guy trying to "help" that squatter in the first clip is an absolute fool. You can kill someone by "helping" them up from a failing squat. The squatter was also at fault. No safeties for one on a heavy attempt, horrendous form for the other. The bar was literally moving forward. With proper form they could've bailed easily by dropping the bar behind. Edit: took a closer look and he copped a feel not just from the back, but also from the front. From the back might be excusable in the heat of the moment, but the front after she was already on the ground? Kinda messed up. That guy's savior complex made things way worse than they needed to be, and on top of that? Ugh. And this is coming from a guy.
With fails videos going around is 3 things I noticed 1) far more ego lifters compared to when I trained in the 90's 2) no one knows how to do squats properly anymore 3) no one knows how to spot someone on squats
Shouldn't have to spot someone on squats. There is racks and safety bars for a reason, set it up properly then if you can't get it up just set it down on the safety bars and be perfectly fine, no squat fatalities if you are not stupid and squat outside the rack.
Does that first guy learn anything about spotting from Justyn Vicky's squat tragedy?? I cringed myself to the max watching that, thinking the same thing would happen to that poor woman.
I went back and watched it. Yes. That's exactly how it looks. Came down right on his neck and then he immediately flattened out. Way too much weight. I think he knew it too. He hesitated at first. One of the problems with crossfit is that coaches often too hard too fast.
hey eddie i was watching a joe rogan podcast ,and he was talking about broc lesnar ,lifting 225 bench press 30 times ,i know you love a CHALLENGE,can you beat it ,/steve
So now we are making up words! Theres literally women out there who do set traps like that, where they get stuck and than scream at you for helping and try to sue you! Yeah INSANE! Consent? Sorry didnt know you needed consent to help someone!? Honestly i would help ANY woman! Well, if i really knew she was struggling or anyone for that matter i would proably help but i dont need consent knowing that its a real struggle! Or i could just watch and laugh the whole time before you decapitat your head, and than laugh at your some more!
Most of these are from squats or overhead press. Not going to do them anymore. Bench, deadlift and machines for me. PS: And if something looks dangerous, don't DO IT!
girls when you're in a gym it is bun time for the hair, couple weeks ago, I saw a young girl 18 19 maybe in gym long beautiful hair, after a Rapunzel joke I made sure to tell her she might wanna tie it up, and thankfully she listened
dislocating your knee while bench pressing is god's way of telling you to stop using cheat form. it's a chest and arm workout, why is your leg coming into play? watched too many power lifting videos of terrible form benching.
My pet hate is people not putting plates back, dropping weights, screaming like a tennis player between reps and not cleaning sweat off implement’s . If people stayed clear of the above gyms would be safer and healthier for all.
7:08 ı just couldn’t understand why it is a unwrited rule, is the girls seting trap for mans? ( ı am the newbie ) please can somebody explain why that rule is important than to save person from the failure?
First half ok, After 3 mins Last half of the video was a cheat code for eddie to get some views and was dumb af. Come on man, watch videos of actual fails there is a metric ton of them on youtube. No idea who dug this list of them for him to watch but I give it a fail on Eddie's part. WTF.
Oh man the guy who dropped the weight on his neck/head 😮. More CrossFit gyms need to teach people how to drop the weight properly.. and stop people ego lifting
bro for the first clip, why not just bail out and drop behind??? Don't understand these people lol if you don't know how to bail out of a squat then use safety bars
not like im not into seein hot chics but im so sick of seein these girls that dress like that just to get views and dont know what they are doing....not really into fittness just into what can get them money without working.
Videos like this are why I will forever preach low weight, high reps. The great George's St. Pierre once said "it's not about how much weight you can lift, but rather how many reps you can manage" stay safe out there yall
1:10 the woman coming into the shot and thinking she can 1 hand a lift that a world class weightlifter couldn't move with both hands... is that arrogance or just cluelessness?
If that isn't a warning to any women lifting with a pony tail.. Wow. Couldn't imagine dropping a weight and then getting pulled down with it by the hair...
The problem is that there is no lesson 1. Most people learn at gyms on their own. So there is no way to go into the gym and practice dumping the bar without getting into a lot of static with other people in the gym.
