Literally 2 of the strongest men on Earth, geeking out over the strength of another dude and impressed with transformations of people through their hard work. How FUN! Love it!
The hammer in the hardware store is super thin, made for strength in the hitting direction, not side to side. Having said that, no way in hell I could ever bend it.
I love that both Eddie and Brian complimenet people who get in shape and get better health overall in the gym and putting in the work. Very wholesome from 2 HUGE guys
You can tell how humble and down to Earth these two guys are, they are literally one of the the strongest men on Earth and they still respect and admire the strength of another Man.
That’s the difference between winner’s and losers. These 2 WERE the strongest men in the world. They’ve got nothing more to prove and can recognize other talented people. Those who brings other down are usually the insecure ones.
Brian and Eddie are just fair players, so it is not a problem for them to assume there's someone who has got stronger wrists. Strong body, strong spirit - I love these guys.
If you pause the video around 31seconds, you can see that the exposed metal part of the hammer is unbent and the only part that is bent is covered by the handle and it is definitely made of a different material as you can see the clear break where the grip is uncovered. My guess is that the handle is made of plastic, not metal. The cans that he is crushing do not have the tapered tops that our cans have; they are straight all the way to the top which is why it's weaker at the top when he pulls them off compared to what you tried. The frying pan is thin aluminum coated in teflon, not steel, the handcuffs broke at the fake chain link (this is done in movies all the time). These are more tricks/illusions than actual feats of strength.
Yea definitely something fishy. Also note how he pulls the hammer away when the other guy tries to grab it. No matter how strong you are. You ain't bending no solid steel hammer. It's like trying to bend a solid crowbar. It just ain't happening.
no, this man has a Guinness record. His name is Sergei Tsyrulnikov. This is such a sport, nothing surprising. You just don't know the capabilities of our body. This person, for example, will not be able to defeat Eddie Hall in a strongman competition. A basketball player cannot beat a football player at his own game, etc. Each sport has its own exercises. This is an unpopular sport, so people think it’s cheating, but for some reason other sports don’t surprise people. Are you surprised by the speed of Usain Bolt, the agility of gymnasts, the strength of strongmen? They are shown on TV every day, and people think it's easy
when I grew up I always thought of strongmen as brute men with not much more to offer than brute strength a large mouth and heavy lifting while screaming, but you guys are motivational and very complementive about these people's performances, thank you for this wholesome content
that's why you should go to the events themselves, the fans adore the strongmen just as much as the strongmen adore their fans. It's a very respectful and fairplay sport and community that you won't find anywhere else.
This is a narrative that losers in film and TV have perpetuated about physically strong people (To make themselves feel better). That they must have a mental deficiency as an offset of being strong so that it sort of balances out their social status. No, dolph lundgren has a PHD an IQ of like 130 or so (Arnold schwarzeneggar has a high IQ as well, just seems dumb because of bad english skills for awhile). You can be smart and lift too.
Watching your videos got me back in the gym. Lost 37 pounds in about 8 months, under 200 for the first time since college (I’m 42). Amazing what a little self control and even just 4-5 hours a week in the gym will do. Thanks for the inspiration Eddie keep it up brother!
@@sidb9540 Well my friend, it wasn't easy. I finally decided while it was never harder to lose weight than it was right then, it would never be that easy again either (things just get tougher as we get older). So I ate nothing but cottage cheese for lunch for 8 months, watched what I ate at dinner, and started hitting the gym 3-5 times a week (3-4 now). I hit some bumps in the road (like being laid up with a surgery for a couple weeks), but I kept at it. I just had my BP tested an hour ago and it was 120/74... LOL last year same time it was 138/86. Two young kids is the best motivation a guy can ask for! Good luck to you sir!
Former bodybuilder and love watching the strongman competition.... Eddie is one of my favorites.... Absolutely loved this episode showcasing strongman bending pots. Horse shoes and ripping can tops off... I know Eddie is a absolute monster in strength a champion the seeing another strong man with another particular specialty Eddie couldn't match was amazing to me... Goes to show you that the human body can be molded into certain types of strengths.... I've seen some of those rock climbers with the most incredible hand strength... Totally amazing
The 350 pounds guy, at first i thought it was a dark joke when the next picture shows someone holding an urn , but then i saw how much he changed, damn, mad respect for that type of strength of will
I'm almost certain it was a dark joke that lead into a motivational video. ie "this is what losing a loved one (all 350lbs of her) looks like", then showing the effect the loss had on his mindset.
It's understandable why Eddie and Brian have respect for those who show feats of strength, because they know what it takes to get to that stage in the first place. Also, just like Joey Swoll says, the biggest guys are likely the kindest and humble, I'd say you two are a prime example.
These dudes are genetic freaks. They worked hard but they’d be much stronger than the average person without ever touching weights. Some of the before and after shots towards the end of the video are obviously juicing results but nonetheless they put in work.
Dude was over 600...lost 330 pds. I subbed to him today after watching him just do it (the dude from Mexico walks around at 260 ATM. Shows him doing those pull-up an dips with that weight....dude is strong. Great Vid guys! Proud of you both!
Hey what's up Eddie. I've been watching you (besides the strong man years) for a while on RU-vid. Dude you are such a funny , down to earth guy and I love it. Just got done watching this vid with Shaw trying the cirrcus strong man stuff. And then the people transforming from lifting weights. Yea sure some of them used gear. But most were super healthy life-changing and inspirational. I wanted to send a DM because of the first transformation and how you guys reacted. You guys were so proud of him and it literally made me tear up. 2 years ago I was 495lbs, my wife had our 2nd daughter who spent 61 days in an incubator and that was it for me. I decided while she was in there to change my life. I'm not some ripped guy, but powerlifting and some strongman exercises have helped me get down to 265lbs. I'm always super self conscious about how the other lifters might think of me, big guy, extra skin, but I keep hitting the gym. So thank you, thanks for inspiring me dude
@@SpankyGames I don't blame you for being skeptical. Go look up Hairculese (Chris Rider). He will walk into any hardware store and bend a name brand wrench or hammer.
Its kinda cool seeing 2 of the strongest men alive watching another strong guy do amazing things and they both are actually amazed and not saying negative stuff these guys are still my favorite strong men😊
Here we have two of the most extreme human beings to ever live. The way they throw out the positive vibes and compliments puts a smile on my face. Netflix should pick up a "Brian and Eddie" show.
this is why i love you so much, Eddie. You are one of the little person on YT who are not ashamed to show also respect to others. Keep it up mr. Beast !
I dig seeing you two comment on stuff together. Been through wars together on the big stage competing against each other for years , and staying mates after all of it.....cool to see. I have some life long buds in which I did the same thing with.
I may be late to the party but gosh I love these videos. It’s one thing to watch Eddie viking press 15 reps (and likely more had he needed to), but watching his reaction videos emphasize such a grounded area of his personality that sometimes gets lost in the aggression of breaking world records. Hoping we cross paths one day mate ✊🏻
Haha funny vid fellas! Just remember, your hammer was unbendable and you weren't using the tall thin can design that he uses for the lid rip trick. I reckon you both have enough power to perform both feats with the same gear.
Yeah that hammer was definitely a softer metal than the hardened steel handle they tried it on, they should try it again with a cheap hardware store hammer. As for the can I reckon with the right technique you'd be able to do it with any can but he'd get more leverage with the thinner one.
Im 37 years old, 5'11 and 220lbs. I was 175 and fit my entire life until I hit 35 years old. Now the weight keeps creeping, and im in the worst shape of my life. I definitely need to get my act together... I can feel my health slipping. Around 31-33 I felt like I was at my peak. I was lean/muscular 175lbs, and it took alot to make me tired. Now I feel lazy, and it's hard to get motivated.
That one guy in the video at 5:57 reminds me a lot of myself. I've currently lost 360 pounds by eating at a deficit with the help of intermittent fasting, walking every day in the winter months or swimming every day in the summer months, and lifting weights in my garage gym 5-6 days a week. He looks a little closer to his goal weight though, I'm still in my upper 400's atm, so I still have another two years or so left on my journey that's taken 4 years so far.
I'm a "skinny fat" person. 6 foot and reached 200 probably cuz I like beer. Joined a gym 3 weeks ago, changed my diet and already down 10 lbs. Super excited 😊 love the videos!
Can we just stop for a second and acknowledge how genuine, wholesome, and especially humble these gentlemen are. You inspire me to never stop getting stronger but also to also strive to be as upstanding a human as possible thank you and May the Lord Bless you both.
I can only imagine how great this guy would be in armwrestling. With that much hand and wrist strength he be an unstoppable force. Thx for sharing brother.
I'm in my transformation now I was at 432 lbs and am down to 354 now. I'm on my way but it's stuff like this that pushes me to do it. Once I got the mind set that I was my biggest setback and it was as simple as quit being lazy and doing it.
at 2:00 i think he put a deck of cards into calendar, which has every day on different sheet ( so when the day passed, you tear off the sheet). In Eastern Europe this type of calendars used to be popular. In Polish it is called "zdzierak" :)
These two guys show that you might not be the best at everything and thats ok .If you see someone doing better than you cherish them ,appreciate them . A tree when it has no fruit to offer, remains erect. But when the tree is laden with fruit, it bends down. ❤❤❤
Considering that Brian and Eddie are two of the world's greatest athletes in my lifetime and two of the strongest humans to grace the planet, they get my full respect for being as humble as they are. That is an incredible quality........especially in someone who is world class. With regards to the can tearing feat, I think I would be careful.....that would be a good way to slice into your hand or fingers and make a very deep and damaging cut. Good content guys...............enjoy seeing your enthusiasm for the accomplishments of these other folks.
Always great to see you both together positive stuff, you guys don't know how much you inspired others well done to all the guys and gals who obtained transformation, as noticed the weight training, 1st one great
Hey guys. Great video. The guy is a monster but there are little tricks to what he does with the can. I've seen close-up video of him doing this and it looked like his fingernails were cut into a bit of a point. That would make the initial penetration easier. Secondly, he is using a european-style can. It's different than our short stubby cans in America. The top of the can is the same size but the diameter of the European Can is smaller and the length is longer. He can grab a hold of it better with both hands. And the aluminum might be a bit thinner too. I work with the tooling dies that are used to make aluminum cans for all over the world. We machine and hand polish them. I can tell you that the short stubby can is a lot tougher.
I think the soda cans he used were different from yours. His soda can was a straight cylinder while yours had that little thicker stripe around the top if im correct. Not shure how this impacts the stability exactly but id guess your can was probably more stable bc of that.
I've always thought it was suspect that the can that he opened appeared to not be pressurized. Opening a pressurized can will spew gas out when opened and it appeared that it only spilled liquid that was above where the top was ripped off.
I think its the same situation in the sledge hammer and the chain locks. Bith of em thinner metal used. I mean if you gonna rip metal chains at least it will rip through skin.
The guy looks like he would be as strong as wsm competitors, but the fact that he is in a circus kinda makes me think that maybe they're illusions. That and the fact that eddie and brian can't even come close to doing what he was doing. You would think that he wouldn't be THAT mucb stronger than strongman world champs....
The way to do the trick with the soda can is actually not that hard once you see how to do it. My buddies dad used to do it for us as kids. The trick is you need to put all your pressure from your grip into 1 finger. Once you pierce the outside of the can, the whole top just comes right off. It really helps if you have short but strong fingernails as well. Its just a matter of piercing the can. The other one he used to do for us was ripping an apple in half. It takes a shit ton of grip strength to do it and looks cool when you do.
Post a video. Love to see this done by someone else. I think the guy in this video was wearing something on his middle finger under the glove. Freeze the video at 2:23. You should see skin but it is black.
@@VictorPoulin He might be cheesing it but try it yourself. Take a butter knife or something and just pierce the top of a full can right in the angled area. Once its pierced, the top rips right off. Its all in just getting the initial puncture...
@@Tacomaguy458 I totally agree. Is this what your buddies dad used to do? Pierce it with a butter knife first or just use his finger like you mentioned in your original comment?
To be honest unfortunately some of these transformations are based on steroid abuse.... nevertheless it still takes hard work, dicipline and the right diet. Also I really love how positive eddie and brian are about it. so wholesome
Two of the best strongmen putting together another great video. Loved seeing how hard they not only geeked out over the transformations but also put together a very inspiring video.
Notice how neither of these 2 legends dismissed these accomplishments by just saying " he probably did roids". People that know, realize how much work goes in either way
People make fun of the old Charles Atlas courses, but they did something cool like this. You'd get newsletters with before and after snapshots, sharing in the achievement of some guy in Kansas or the Philippines. Super motivating.
I lost 220lbs in a year at 40, with almost no exercise. I cycled hundreds of kilometers, trained for offensive line and mixed martial arts, swam a kilometer a day for most of a year, peaked at 20km a week in a pool averaging 4km an hour. I powerlifted and trained strongman. I grappled 10 hours a week on the mats with conditioning sessions and coaching kids on top of my classes. I lost bugger all weight - maybe 10lbs that I always put back on the first time an injury or my work schedule got in the way. Bariatric surgery forced me to rebuild my relationship with food. I lost the weight insanely fast. I go to the gym for pretty muscle, for my mental health, and because I've been a gym rat since highschool. I have more defined abs at 42 than when i tried to be a professional fighter at 25.
You weren't fair to yourselves, trying to bend the solid fiberglass handle, when the original was a thin necked steel handle. I love how you guys are so complimentary of >everyone< you're watching.
Here's the hammer trick, and it's simple. The hammer that was easily bent was an "Estwing" type, with a steel handle. Once bent, they stay bent.. The types, that they couldn't bend had a fiberglass handle that will flex and then snap back. I'm a (very old) carpenter (framer), and have used everything from Vaughns, to Hellers, to Plumb Rigging axes. I can even tell you how long the head's crosscuts will last before they need to be sharpened.
