@@timothybayliss6680 He is currently pulling it across the atlantic ocean. The trailer is mounted with floats and the tractor is regularly supplied with coal by small ships.
I heard it all started with an argument between who had the stronger mule, so they used a barn door and kept adding weight to see who's mule could pull the most weight
FINALLY a pretty cool video that the uploader didn't edit in their STUPID music and cut out the original sounds of the machines... Thanks, you got my thumbs up!
@@47485ksc I read that in the old days they just had 2 driveshafts go to a differential. And then the output went to the real axle. Not sure if that gave you any information that you didnt already know, but I think that was what you were asking lol.
Right, it also why I look at container ship and oil tanker power plants, cylinder bores so big you can stand in one, the new Wartsila-Sulzer RTA96-C chugging along at 102 rpm making 100 000 hp.
you all prolly dont care at all but does any of you know a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost the account password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me
@Bobby Skyler Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
*WOW Denmark!!! You've got some beautiful Tractors there!!! Glad to see you've got the "Whadya Mean, I don't need another Engine?!!!" attitude down pat!!! xD*
250k-500k at most. About the same as 1 NASCAR if not a little more. To give you an I'd bbn of really expensive stuff just 1 of Merc's F1 engines is 10 million ton other teams after time for R&D, expensive materials, etc
I used to operate Cat 966 and 980 FEL's and while no where near as powerful as these once that turbo comes on song they would still spin all four wheels while dozing. Awesome vid!
I saw some like that in person when I was a kid. They are so loud it is insane. Sounds like someone putting a air nozzle up to your ears an blowing in at high pressure. The video doesn't do it justice or really pick up the sound you hear in person when those jet rigs go
Our local guy has 5 v8 Chevvy's in his. Look up Desperate Dan. Even the mini one the team built for a kid has a v8 Chevvy to power it and it's only about big enough for a kid to sit on.
...and they say Formula1 is the pinnacle of motorsports...pfffff I don't know, man. Do they have jet engines? Or 4 of them? How is Jeremy Clarkson not the announcer for this?? POWERRRRR!!!!!
this is when you take an American motorsport pastime and add in Scandinavian engineering- we measure how far, they measure how fast to a full pull LOL Awesome!
I don't see much difference between Scandinavian and American pulling, other then the engine combinations, they both go fast and the both measure distance, not sure what you're getting at...
I think it's hilarious when people see tractor pulling videos and try and talk down to Americans for enjoying something like this when Europeans are into it too!
avin r ...air shows in America have exhibition runs of Shock Wave 300 mph truck! You can see some of his runs on YT. He, (his son now) races airplanes at airshows. It's awesome to see! SHOCK WAVE!
That one with two different types of engines, one looks to be an alki blower motor, the others some kind of huge turbo diesels, is pretty wild. I wonder if he has them on different gear ratios or something since obviously they have different redlines.
@@frankmacleod2565 if you think that it is this that makes the global climate warming, then I have a bridge to sell you. Yes it have influence but not as much (less than 10%) as the tons of CO2 unregulated companies in developing coutries (as China and India) put every single year in atmosphere, companies that make everything we buy today because its cheaper than what a product would cost being produced in the West with all the regulations and environmental checks. Plus the tons of methane released by Cow Farms. Not counting the cut of forests for agriculture fields, the enumerous fires each year start everywhere by human hand or lack of cleaning of forests. But hey, the rhetoric of companies and government is that it is the end consumer fault and we must do something to change it, while they keep doing what they do in the name of fat profits every since quarter... Plus seeing this happen in Denmark, one of the most consciously aware countries in Europe, together with Finland and Sweden, it really probably says something, don't you think? You still have the tons of airplane in the air, the tons of shipping boats going around the world, the tons of transport trucks and much more, just to have the "One Day Shipping“ that we so must enjoy in your cheap products... I'm not defending this, mind it. But there are a Lot. More. Stuff. That does bad than some fun in a weekend that this is. You know how much energy is needed to produce extract aluminium from his ore, bauxite? It's the same to recycle it, in a magnitude of scale that iron doesn't even compare. Such energy come from cheap production, being coal and gas plants. Before this we need to change the way of our society first. Are you up to that, to the simply abdication of our way of life for a greener one? Most people aren't or can't.
@@black.phoenix. lots of factors contribute to climate. Atmospheric chemistry is one. Of course this single tractor pull isnt the sole cause of climate, that is absurd
Banter Brothers had 6 blown alky engines. Only guy with more was Tim Engler I think it was mission impossible the name. This blue hybrid diesel blown alky is the most entertaining pull vehicle I’ve seen bar none. That’s a sight
only reason some of these got a full pull is due to momentum. they had everything moving so fast at the start that it just kept going and with that power in front not much would stop it.
Does anyone remember back in the late 80s early 90s a tractor, I think it was called Dragon Fly, and when it ran the would shut off the stadium lights because it shot green fire from its exhaust way up in the air?
My daughter and I used to go all the time back when I lived in the Midwest.. a friend had a truck that was awesome so we went a lot back then.. mis it tooooo
V4 engine :- BRUHH! V8 engine :- Ya all need more power for this competiton.. V16 :- Are you even there yet?? V24 :- You can get the job done.. V24 * 3 :- Thats Preety hefty bois.. You can get a trophy 4 Jet Engine :- Get 100 hydraulic brakes at each tyres😂😂😂 8 jet engines:- Get ur Wings, We have to fly the trailer from London to america 🔥🔥🚀🚀 12 jet engines:- Lets go to Exosphere. 🌌🚀
Well, no torque to speak of... Torque isn't the aim here. Wheelspin, and by extension, engine rpm is the aim. That's why jet engines work here. They produce ridiculous rpm, but very very little torque.
