Yes, just like cars and anything else that is financed.
Sheds are typically on rent-to-own terms and if they fail to make their rental payments we pick them up.
My wish is not for anyone to get anything repossessed but rather for everyone to make great decisions and prosper.
I understand people fall on hard times and that sucks but it all comes down to responsibly, if you can't pay you can always voluntarily return it.

There shouldn't be an eviction notice needed for this. These are not Dwellings, that are Storage Sheds. They should not be living in them. They have had ample time and ample warnings to remove their belongings. If you rent a car and then Start living in it, you don't need an eviction notice to re-possess it.

If they tried to take those sheds with people in them.then they could be charged with kidnaping and false imprisionment. It could also be seen as a threat of bodily harm giving the parent the right of self defense. Gotta be damn careful in these situations. It's one of the major reasons that reposestion outside of the courts should be banned. On the othersid3, the courts and processes are so screwed up and costly that it imposes an unreasonal burden on the businesses. Repo the easy and cooperative ones, but something like this needs to go to court and reposession aided by law enforcement with a court order.

It doesnt matter what you call a structure. Shed, barn, garage, apartment, house. Child protective services are only concerned that the children are safe and feed and healthy. The alternative is to remove the children from the family. They won't do that unless the kids are in danger. There are many worst housing conditions where the kids are safe. If I were a judge looking at this situation I would extend the eviction and repo. I would help the people find alternative housing. There are plenty of services available.

If they could, the Amish would lose their kids, too. The shed company even knows all of this and why they put it in the contract that it can't be used as a living dwelling and then they can use that as one of the reasons to repo it.

Its a patch work. What they did was tie the two trailers together with a single mobile home behind. Those shed are probably 4 bedrooms and with the 2 in the single wide it is a six bedroom domicile. If the sheds were repoed they wouldnt be homless just cramped like they were before they added the sheds.

You are there to repossess a shed, you're not evicting them from a "house". I'm pretty sure that the rules are different and they just didn't think it through when they decided to use the sheds for housing. I don't know how they got it okayed by the zoning folks. Take those shacks and go. They're just bums. Straight up bums. Bet there's not a paycheck between all of them. Those are NOT houses, they are storage sheds.

@@bethroesch2156 My daughter is having an issue with neighbors putting 4 sheds and running toilet out to yard her kids ride bikes thru! Zoning commission came and ticketed them. Can’t live in a “tiny home” in our town! Has to be made to live in (mobile home). A shed is a shed!

If i were one of them, I’d be inside packing my stuff. But I also pay my bills, so I wouldn’t be in that situation. Bc even if I fell on hard times and couldn’t pay, I would have apologized and moved out when i was supposed to and not stopped them from taking the buildings.

The fact is you’re there to repossess and the officers are only there to keep the peace while you follow through with the process. The way the officer conducted this incident is unprofessional. Nobody would EVER have anything repossessed if they had this officer on site

All those people, children, lots of dogs, junk, TV Dishes, not 1 but 2 of them. Seems they do not work, but eat in front of the Televisions all day. Those women need to work off some weight. The men are ready to fight for what does not belong to them. Never have I seen people like this, although I have read about that sort. Just awful such a nice repo man has to deal with them.

These are people that have obviously worked the system their entire lives. You can tell by the way they start off telling the guys to get a court order to make them get out. They know that will delay it to allow them to stay there longer and work some legal loopholes in their favor.

Would you need an eviction notice if they where living in a used car that was not pad for. I don`t think so, whats the deference ,it`s a tool shed, not a house, why don`t the cops do there job, and treat the looser like they treat normal people who brake the law, if Charles would have hit there window and made threats, the cops would have arrested him, why can`t they put the looser in handcuffs and sat him in the car until the shed was on the truck. Simple, but No, they have to give another warning to put every thing off to another day and start all over again.
