Long time watcher and subscriber here. I notice you use the zapco dsp for alot of builds. Do you recommend them over Audison or Helix? I prefer not to use a laptop and the zapco with an iPad for tuning appeals to me. Thanks in advance.
Yes, not many DSPs have an app and even less of them are functional. The reality is that apps are only good to play around, not for serious work. It’s way to easy to buy a used, small Windows laptop for like $100-200 and then you can work properly…if you can tune properly.
Im over in the states. Lots of amps here now days can take .5 with a warranty even.. i might suggest crossfire or crecendo or dc audio if thats how you do the install 😎

Dear Peter, please increase the default sound level (loudness)! Maybe dynamically adjust it 1-1.5db between speaking / recording car systems. I love this content, but the irony is your videos are more difficult to hear that the majority out there. Does everyone feel me? This issue is apparent when you don't have a gain knob on the audio output, it's not the first time I catch this with your content!
I don't know why you would make that statement ? Me : Mad Max to the bitter end petrol for life Hybrids & EVs have their place in car audio : 1. Quite NO engine noises 2. Cabin well insulated NO wind noise 3. High capacity charging circuit & efficient batteries 4. Strong WiFi, Sirius, XM, Apple, Android signals 5. Better ground points It has not caught on because installers & owners are intimidated.
