CRAZY Vauxhall Adam S Stage 2 tuned by DK Tuning

This awesome little Vauxhall/opel Adam S was back in with DK Tuning in Wolverhampton the other day. This time to go to stage 2 which included the Scorpion Exhaust de cat downpipes and Forge Motorsport blow off valve.
We then applied our stage 2 ECU software which meant it got taken to just shy of 200hp. We also added pops and bangs into the remap to make this little car sound mental!
These are the same 1.4 turbo engines used in the Corsa and Astra and we have tuned literally hundreds of them now!

I am confused, video description says just shy of 200hp but in the video you are saying 173hp, wich one is it ?

@@DKTuninghq Any suggestions for a new starter to engine modding on a vauxhall adam 2013 not neccessarily something that will make it loud but more of a performance enhancer thanks

Hii friend, I've got this same car, I've put the medium exhaust straight and the final stock, sounds similar the part of the video you say "pre decat" , my friend has an abarth and only has remap and make the pops and bangs, my Adam sounds good but not so loud as the video one, and no like the abarth, so you recommended change the downpipe and remap?

yes mate remap and decat for pops and bangs with extra power, also abarth engines are naturally a little louder and more gravelly tone, if youd like to discuss further drop us an email to aidan@dktuning.co.uk :)

It's there any different between 1.4 normal Adam and the 1.4 Adam S. I mean if I wanna mount a turbo. Do I have to modify things?

The only difference is turbo and performance with seats that’s genuinely all, I’ll recommend just going with the Adam s instead of wasting money on a turbo to fit it

@@policopaul7961 1. You could turbo the 1.4 n/a slam but I’ll not recommend it as it’s not worth it, you should of just went with the Adam s if you want power

@@policopaul7961aye man fuck all that shit, there’s a full turbo kit online for 1,400 and it comes with everything you’ll need. Upgrade your brakes and suspension first. Be prepared to have to buy new camshafts and pistons etc and get a good air intake on there. Cut the bonnet and place 2 air vents one directly above the after market air intake and one on the right side of the fan that’ll remove excess heat from the engine bay where as the other draws in the cold* air. Have it remapped and looked over. It will be pricy but for a 200/250 brake Adam it’s worth it. Best of luck pal and don’t ever let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do. Love ✌🏻 🇬🇧
