the build plate. never knew of such glue. but looking at the price $35. I'm glad i bought the gold build plate $20 and the prints adhere well and come off with ease.

a) the beeping can be turned off under Settings b) print one of the available brackets and move the CR Touch sensor to a zero-Y offset. This is a MASSIVE game changer in terms of first layer quality. c) use a PEI bed. If using a PC bed, remove it before spraying glue.

For me, the pre sliced benchy was about perfect

That's good to hear. Maybe they changed it or there was an issue with my filament.

@@Craftknights3D I had gotten the printer last week so I doubt they would have changed it between then and now. It could have probably been related to other environmental factors

The white pla was not great. But the basf pla printed the benchi perfectly with default printer settings

My Ender 5S1 came today and it doesnt have a z axis switch like yours. In most of the videos I saw before, all of them had z axis switch. Does it cause problems? I haven't printed anything with it yet.
@Craftknights3D
@Craftknights3D Год назад
Mine has no z-limit switch either. They changed that. Newer machines come without one and z-homing is done with the BL-Touch sensor on the tool head. So no worries!

@@Craftknights3D Thank you for the reply. I got my first benchy and it looks nice. I'm new to to 3D Printing, so any info helps.

I have one of each. With the CR Touch sensor, the homing doesn't use the Z switch at all.

You mentioned part cooling being an issue. What upgrade woould think you would need to make?
@Craftknights3D
@Craftknights3D Год назад
A better, more powerful part cooling fan would be a start. A alternate fan duct could also help. There are several fan duct projects on Printables and Thingyverse for the Ender 5 that improve airflow for part cooling.

This vs Sovol SV06 plus. Which one is better? Thanks in advance!
@Craftknights3D
@Craftknights3D Год назад
Hands down. The SV06 is cheaper and only marginally slower than the Ender-5 S1. I don't own the SV06 but from what I have heard it is a great printer. And the Ender-5 S1 is somewhat expensive for what it is.

@@Craftknights3D Thank you for your response. I like the Sovol based on the reviews. Are the issues on the Ender overblown or is it really that bad? The Ender is not much more expensive than the Sovol. I think the Ender 5 S1 is now

@@arfifteen9344 Most of the issues, like the z endstop at the bottom, are fixed and the Ender-5 S1 prints Well and reliable. It runs better in Klipper though.

This one or ankermake m5 ?
@Craftknights3D
@Craftknights3D Год назад
To be honest. None of them. The AnkerMake is very expensive for what it is and last I heard the AI camera feature is still not working. I would recommend the P1P from Bambu Lab. It's faster and more reliable than both of these printers. Or the K1 from Creality.

@@Craftknights3D hi, thanks for your reply , but in my country , these two are within my budget ,, the p1p and k1 are much more above my budget , so if you had to choose, which one would you go with? ,, consider being a beginner and this is the first printer to get .
